The Char grilled beef lime dish was probably my favourite dish here. We ordered one that came medium to medium rare and it was particularly tender and refreshing. We decided to order 2nds but it was too cooked for my liking though the flavour was perfect. The lamb rack/chop was disappointing and very overcooked like a kind of reheated texture but full marks on flavours. The place is noisy and you only get 90 minutes to dine when it's busy. Still serving Singha beer in cold steel cups is delightful. Value is good approx 250$ each with more protein than carbs. Ended with a dessert, 1 plate of mango and sticky rice which...

I had high expectations, but unfortunately, it's a solid 3. If you're going for their signature char-grilled beef with lime, I recommend getting it medium-well. That's blasphemy; why would you do that? You're not getting prime beef for HK$120. Trust me.

The salads—larb moo, papaya, and pomelo—were all decent, but that's to be expected from any authentic Thai spot.

The pad thai was on the slodgy side, the tom yum had seafood that clearly smelt off, and I don't even want to get started on the volcano pork ribs or whatever that monstrosity was. Boiled ribs in a bland broth that's masked with garlic and herbs. You've...

Cabbage Roll Review

I recently tried the cabbage roll. I found the dish to be a bit on the salty side. While the saltiness didn't completely overshadow the other flavors, it was noticeable enough to mention. A little less salt would have allowed the other ingredients to shine more. Overall, the cabbage roll was hearty and satisfying, but a slight adjustment in seasoning could make it even better. If you're a fan of robust flavors and don't mind a bit of extra salt, this dish is...

Their food quality has dropped quite significantly to the point of being disastrous recently. I ordered a Thai roasted fish - it is supposed to have rock salt on the skin with juicy meat inside, instead I got a salty fish with dried (and very salty) meat. This restaurant has a long history in Kowloon City and sadly it is now a goner in my list of Thai restaurants in the neighbourhood.
