I used to like this place because the broth for the boat noodle was good.

After trying Samsen, I wanted to try this place again to see which broth was better.

The broth here is not as strong and rich as Samsen and it was a tad too sweet for my liking.

I was a bit annoyed because I assumed that Cambodian noodles would be served with it but they gave me flat rice noodles by default which is totally weird.

If you google any Thai noodles you get the thin type and all the Thai joints in Hong Kong never give me flat rice noodles by default. I wanted to get another bowl of noodles but I was too pissed to order another because the first bowl annoyed me.

On my way out I heard the waiter ask this other table what type of noodles they wanted and no one asked me that when I ordered.

Totally pissed because I went all the way to Kowloon...

This Thai restaurant truly delivers authentic flavors and ingredients. Despite its small size and limited seating, my party and I were able to get seated without any wait on Easter afternoon. We ordered the boat noodles which tasted amazing. The prices were reasonable; we ordered two bowls of noodles, phoenix claw salad, and a coconut for around $200. Additionally, the menu is available in Thai, Chinese, and English, making it easy for anyone to navigate. However, the service wasn't great as the staff wasn't particularly welcoming and we had to write our own orders. Cheong Fat Thai Food is a very authentic Thai restaurant. They actually have two locations that are right next to each other. So you can go to either one and get the same good quality food. They also sell Thai snacks at the entrance. We came here on a Tuesday afternoon so we got seated right away. There was no wait. We ordered 2 lunch sets: Boat Noodles with Lime Water and Fried Minced Pork and Basil on rice with Thai Milk Tea. The quality of each dish was excellent. The minced pork had a good spicy kick to it.
