After we visited the A-Ma temple in Macau we decided to walk along the Rua do Almirante Sergio and look for an interesting restaurant for having dinner. We found the “Makok Mang Ke” which served, according to my friend, some typical Macanese dishes. The interior is kind of rustic, the servers were attentive and friendly. We ordered Deep-Fried Codfish Balls, Spicy African Chicken with Rice and Baked Rice with Seafood in Pineapple. Everything tasted well: The fish balls were made with plenty of potatoes. The chicken (served with some French fries) was not too spicy and pretty juicy. And the baked rice with seafood was also quite tasty. We were quite satisfied with that meal. Also, the prices were moderate. Recommended.

2 floors of seating. Chinese and English menu, can order via QR code or physically with the waiters. A very big menu very difficult to decide what to order, ordered based on the photos seen display around the restaurant and on the menu. Baked rice came in 15 mins. Recommend the baked pork chop rice in Portuguese style tomato sauce, very generous portion of pork chop but little rice than expected compare to elsewhere. Roasted white codfish with garlic butter came in half hour, fish is very soft.

Curry pork baked rice, I thought I have expected how it will Tatse, but it is even nicer than my expectation ! The pork was so tender & juicy, the amount of cheese was good for me, it was burnt until crispy, dont expect pulled cheese effect. The curry mixed well with rice, not dry yet not wet, a little bit spicy, which is good so you still able to taste the curry

Great local restaurant that has it all! Had the ox tail stew that was cooked great! Staff service was okay however they do not speak much English, but you can get by because they have an English menu. I believe this restaurant is very old but it has a certain feeling to it that makes it unique. If you’re ever in this area I would recommend this restaurant!

Location is not in tourist spots but still better to make reservation. Delicious Macau dishes with affordable price. Tables are not huge better for 5-6 ppl. Boiled sea bass is a must, just watch out for some bones. Stew oyster is huge and fresh. Lemon tea honey ice tea with ice bear are good for photo taking.

Local restaurant with reasonable price. Good for gathering better make a booking first. Some of the dishes are big protons with rice, you can tell the staff to cancel some rice in your order. I didn't take enough photos but the beef-tails were quite good as well.
