Perfect Outdoor Casual Dining Happy Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋節快樂 Dining outdoor where one could see the majestic full moon 🌝 is of importance during Mid-Autumn Festival.

Talay Thai for me is perfect settings for family and friends. It is casual, relaxing, good view of the outer harbour, Taipa bridge and most importantly you’ll be able to admire looking at the moon while dining. We brought our own homemade Mooncake 🥮 and it’s simply a lovely quality time.

Talay-Thai offers an authentic Thai cuisine with a team comprising of Thai chefs, Thai servers and some local team. The food is good with a mix of family style and restaunt cooking. I’ve ordered almost everything in their menu over 10 years. This visit was my 2nd dinner so we ordered basic meal that’s “Pineapple Fried Rice, Seafood 🦞 in Coconut 🥥 Braised Vermicelli with prawn 🦐 and Salad plus some drinks 🍹 🥥 🌴

The service is good even if the restaunt is full. The Thai server is always nice and attentive to our request.

Although it is casual outdoor settings, the ambiance is clean and hygienic enough. We had our own hand sanitiser and mask envelope 😷 so even if it was not offered on the table upon arrival we’re fine with it.

The amenities included is Bar, Private Karaoke Room (indoor), and free car park at the Fisherman’s Warf.

Price: The price range is mid-range with each dishes costing a minimum of MOP80+ to around MOP300/order.

If you’re driving or taking a taxi it is conveniently located at the Fisherman’s Warf.
