The national emblem of Macao in its golden glory... Relax with family and friends at this square.... Ample space for the tiny tots to run around....Lotus Square Macao is an impressive landmark located in the heart of the city, and I highly recommend a visit to anyone traveling to Macau. The square features a striking bronze statue of the lotus flower, which is a symbol of purity, enlightenment, and renewal in Chinese culture.

The Lotus Square is an open space surrounded by high-rise buildings, and it offers a stunning view of the city skyline. The square is well-maintained, and the pathways are well-paved, making it easy for visitors to explore the area. There are benches where visitors can sit and relax, while admiring the beautiful scenery around them.

The statue of the lotus flower itself is truly impressive. It stands at a height of 6 meters and is made of bronze. The sculpture is beautifully crafted, with intricate details that make it look lifelike. It is a popular spot for taking photos, and visitors can often be seen striking a pose with the statue in the background.

One of the things that I appreciated about Lotus Square is that it is free to visit. There are no admission fees or charges, which makes it an ideal destination for those on a budget. The square is also easily accessible by public transportation, making it a convenient stop for tourists.

Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Lotus Square Macao. It is a beautiful and peaceful place, and the statue of the lotus flower is a must-see attraction in the city. Whether you're a nature lover, a history buff, or just looking for a relaxing spot to unwind, Lotus Square is definitely...

Golden Lotus Square is located between Avenida de Amizade and Rua de Luis Gonzaga Gomes, the Macao Special Administrative Region of China. A 6-meter tall large sculpture of "Lotus Flower in Full Bloom" unveils its beauty on the joint area of 3 main streets, which aimed to celebrate the return of sovereignty of Macau in 1999. This area hence the name Golden Lotus Square or Lotus Square. There are two golden lotus statues (a large one and a small one) which are made of gilded bronze and put in the middle of the square. The large one weights 6.5 tons, and the diameter of the flower is 3.6 meters at maximum. The major part of it, with 16 components in total, is composed of a stem, petals and pistil. The base of the flower consists of 23 pieces of red granite, and set in three layers in the shape of...

Sculpture of "Lotus Flower In Full Bloom" marks the return of sovereignty of Macau, made of gilded bronze and is 6 meters high .The lotus flower, which is in full bloom, symbolizes the everlasting prosperity of Macau and there are three layers of red granite at the base, which are in the shape of lotus leaves, signifying the Macau Peninsula, Taipa Island and Coloane Island. The sculpture was presented by the State Council of the People's Republic of China to mark the transfer of the sovereignty of Macau from Portugal to China. Interestingly Lotus Square is very popular with skateboarders because of its abundance of ledges,...

As it’s name indicates, it’s an open space where the Lotus sculpture stands. A symbol of Macau’s economic reputation, the Lotus sculpture is a landmark commemoration of the handover of Macau to China. It’s an impressive bronze structure of a lotus flower in full bloom, which was presented by China to Macau in 1999. It almost looks like a giant golden lotus with 3 layers of petals: the golden sheen becomes very bright in the sunlight 😎😎😎. The sculpture stands on 3 granite platforms representing the 3 territories of Macau SAR: Macau Peninsula, Taipa Island and Coloane Island.

Lotus Square is a place of Tourist attraction in Macau. The Lotus in bloom was presented by China to Macau in the year 1999 when the island was handed over to China by Portuguese. A symbol of prosperity. Lotus is made of bronze, 6.5 Tonnes in weight. The base consists of 23 pieces of red granite in three layers. The shape is that of the lotus leaves. They represent the three main parts of Macau: Peninsula, Taipa Island and Coloane Island. Must visit when in Macau
