During my visit, I was particularly impressed by the Chaozhou marinated goose served with jellyfish, which had a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The oyster pancakes were another standout—crisp on the outside and rich inside. The fried rice boasted delightful wok hei, enhancing its aromatic profile.

Unexpectedly, the desserts also stole the show. The "Fan Sha Yu" (反沙芋), a Chaozhou specialty, features taro cut into strips, deep-fried, and quickly stir-fried with sugar, creating a sweet and satisfying finish to the meal.

Despite being short-staffed and extremely busy, the service was excellent. Every staff member served with a smile and displayed attentiveness that made the dining experience enjoyable.

A beautiful decorated restaurant in Chiu Chow cuisine. However, I would rather have had dinner elsewhere. They charge high but with average food quality, even for authentic Chiu Chow dishes. The services are awful and unprofessional. The server made a couple of mistakes in taking orders, and mistakes were not even fixed in my bill. Duplicate orders being cancelled still appeared on my bill. Honestly, it wastes the beautiful star decoration. The 3-star I gave was only because of the decorations. Otherwise, with the price, I could definitely get something much better. The food quality as described is just average. It means you could have similar or even better food quality in other authentic chiu chow restaurants with less or even half of the price. The food was ok until we ordered the porridge. We could smell some disinfectant taste from the porridge. So we sent it back and asked the waitress to smell it. She refused to do it and kept saying nobody was complaining this morning. We said you could really smell it. But again she said no.
