I don't understand some of the reviews here. In my opinion, the restaurant should get 6 stars compared to some other 5-star restaurants. I have never eaten a comparable fillet in Macau, and my wife's steak was also excellent. The sauces are delicious and so was the soup of the day. The ambitious is old Macau style, nothing extra, just practical. Many restaurants are like that here. What is remarkable is the focus on the food, which is far superior to many upscale restaurants. Average steaks with unappealingly bland black pepper sauce. Wish the sizzling plate can be hotter. Steak is tasty and tender, it doesn’t feel chewy at all. Recently renovated Cafe Macau-HK-Portuguese style fusion restaurant. For those steak lovers, preferred cream soup and enjoy the reasonable price range set menu. Dessert included, mango pudding actually is better than expected. It hits the craving spot. Don't bother to try that Baked Pork soup, over cooked. Leave that to an authentic Chinese restaurant. Fried cod fish ball, Bacalhau, was disappointing. Leave that to an authentic Portuguese restaurant.

Had a good chat with a couple visiting from Hong Kong. It's great that there are more people exploring local neighborhood goodies of Macau.
