Villa Costa — Hotel in Santo António

I’m taking the time to write this review because the experience was absolutely horrible. The place is simply disgusting. Unfortunately, I had to stay here one night as a last minute „it’s getting late and no other choice“ option. Yes, it’s cheaper than the big hotels but is also an absolute dump. I encountered everything from dirty sheets, spiderwebs, hair to cockroaches (counted at least 8 I saw, don’t even want to think about the ones I didn’t see) and the smell of urine. The receptionist is unfriendly and also totally aware of the disgusting conditions so just handed out a anti-cockroaches spray. The place is also still completely overpriced: 300 MOP for the smallest single room is a joke for the conditions. I really hope no one gets in the situation of having to stay here - stay away from this place! This place should be shut down for it’s horrific conditions.
