Holiday Hotel — Hotel in São Lázaro

We stayed last Jan. 14-16, 2019. We chose this hotel coz it's cheap and close to the tourist spots, but i'm not happy with the services at all. The room stinks, the beddings were not changed, and there were dusts on their air purifier machine. It puffed all over the place when I turned it on. The front desk were not friendly at all. They can't even speak English, so if you need something or has concerns, you need to find a way for yourself coz they can't help you out. They can't understand you! One more thing. One time when we were wandering outside, when we came back to our room, our towels were changed, beddings were folded, soaps and shampoos were changed as well. I was totally outraged! They cleaned up the room while we were out! And all of our things were there! How can you complain? They can't understand you! Not a good place to stay I must say. This hotel must be shut down. Stop booking in this room. They don't deserve a tiny bit of your money. Trust me! Very...

The only good about this place is the location. McDonald's, 7-Eleven, and several shops around. The bus stops are also walking distance, as well as the Ruins of St. Paul and Senado Square. As for the room, it is very small and there's no much space for our luggage. The beds are very small too. The blankets have stains and the floor is quite dirty when we arrived. I even saw some food residue. The TV has no cable so mostly local channels only and we couldn't understand. The hallway smells cigarette smoke and the noise from the other rooms can be heard inside our room. The frontdesk staffs couldn't speak English. We stayed here last February. The hotel is super near The Ruins and other spots in Macau. There is a convenient store three houses down the corner and 2 bus stops nearby. We had 3 different rooms with 3 different sizes as well but all for same price. The room I personally had was just right for me and my partner. It was spacious, with good wifi and there is also an english channel on TV. Our room has a window where you can see the streets, though in one of the rooms you can smell if anyone is smoking a cigarette outside but we brought a personal air purifier, so no biggie, also we were out most of the day.
