Room: Room is amazingly spacious and at a very good price. We booked the family room which consisted of 2 single beds and one double bed. The 2 single beds were separated by a door which also had it's own bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy and had all the essentials provided i.e. hair dryer, coffee, tea, kettle, mini fridge, safe, TV etc. Room was cleaned daily. Smaller details which made the room even better - plug sockets (with USB!) near the beds so that you can charge your phone whilst in bed, and luggage space underneath the beds to slot in the suitcases so that they are out of the way. Not to also mention that the windows are big allowing a lot of natural sunlight into the room!
Service: Very good service from the staff from the front desk, cleaners to restaurant staff. Breakfast was included with a decent selection of food (although don't expect thousands of choice).
Location: We took the HZMB bus from Hong Kong to Macau and the hotel was only 10mins bus ride away from the main bus terminal. It is still roughly 20mins walk to the St Paul's ruins if you want to go by foot, but the casinos down south (Venetian, Parisian and Londoner) are 45-60mins bus ride depending on traffic. Buses are frequent but can be packed sometimes with only standing space left. Beware that Google is also very outdated in Macau and we got on the wrong bus a few times, so it is worth checking before getting on. There are convenience stores, high street shops, and restaurants downstairs from the hotel, so it isn't in the middle of no where.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and highly recommend it (unless you want something closer to the tourist attractions). If I ever go back to Macau, I...
Read moreReally good hotel, particularly for non-gamblers who do not want to spend the bulk of the time in Cotai. The hotel can be reached by foot from the border gate within 10 minutes. The lobby is found on the 3rd floor, where we were attended to by 2 very friendly staff Sarah and Kitty. They got us a room before the official check-in time (around 1.5 hrs earlier). The room was larger than expected, given the price, and was very clean. It included a sofa like sitting area, table and chair. there was also a cupboard, safe. There were also 2 complementary packets of drip coffee which were made in Macau. The toilet was small but clean, dental kits are also provided. The shower area only had shower curtains, so do not point the showerhead towards to shower curtains if you do not want to flood the floor outside the shower area. Breakfast was okay, it was a buffet with simple dishes, and you could also order 1 dish from the kitchen, selected from 5 options. But given the location of the hotel within Macau city, it might be more worth it to try the food around the hotel (there is also a McDonald within walking distance). The hotel is very tall, thus you get a rather nice view if you get a high floor (you need to select the high floor option which cost a bit more). Alternatively, you can climb up to Mong Ha fort, located right opposite the hotel, to get the same scenic views. Connectivity wise, there is a bus stop right opposite the...
Read moreI had intended to spend just the night of the 26th June at the Greenery Inn. My chum and I were celebrating my Bday in Macau. When we extended our stay by one more night we were immediately offered complimentary breakfasts. They even upgraded our room. NICE. ||I shared my bday cake and sushi with the overnight staff. The service was good. Attentive and prompt. The room was so clean and spotless I’d joked that had the floors not been carpeted, my companion (a future Howard Hughes) might be tempted to fry an egg on it. We watched the sun set over the city from our lovely suite. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the bathroom was GOOD. The self service breakfast was more than adequate and there was terrace running all along the breakfast room for smokers. This gem of a hotel was opened during Covid and they appear to be quite full even though it wasn’t quite the weekend yet. The Thai restaurant was a real joy. The food was excellent, the chef being Thai himself. Overall for the money $ it’s the best VALUE hotel I’ve stayed in since I started coming to Macau many years ago. I’ve stayed at the Celebrity Tower in Studio City, the Metropark hotel, the Holiday Inn Express, the Venetian etc etc. The Management staff came by to wish me “Happy Birthday”. I guess they’d looked at my passport! I would stay HERE again … in...
