Taal Macau — Restaurant in Santo António

Indian food abroad is the gateway into our cuisine and culture. I've always been impressed with the quality and taste in the 15+ countries I've had Indian food at. But this was a terrible experience. Ordered tomato soup, jeera rice, and malai kofta. The soup was probably 3/10 but the malai kofta was the real disappointment. Tasted extremely bland like mud. I asked the waiter to taste it and let me know if it tasted anything like malai kofta. He offered to change it and was back with one after about ten minutes. This time they made it extra spicy and only spicy, probably not knowing that the dish is supposed to be sweet, not spicy. Being a business owner, I'm always careful about not leaving bad reviews, being mindful that it affects their business. Hopefully this was a one-time goof up and...

Found this beautiful restaurant by accident, was searching on Google map for a restaurant near by after a meeting in Macau. I received a warm welcome by the staffs immediately after walking up to the staircase, the deco there was beautiful and filled with vibrant, the food was really tasty, we ordered the lamb curry, spinach chicken and garlic naan bread, I personally loved the naan bread the most, it combined soft inside and crispy on the edges, the subtle garlic fragrance just makes me wanted to eat more (which is a bit of dangerous for my weight 😝) I would highly recommended you to visit Taal if you are travelling to Macau. For me I will definitely come back! 😉

Very disappointed 😢 with food i order chicken biryani and serve for me shrimp and chicken biryani mixed when i tasted chicken old blended taste less cant eat vomit 🤮. Very disappointed with beautiful place owner invest 3 million hkd but chef disappointed me with his careless job . I dont have word to how i disappointed. I was very hungry and try to go good place .
