Given a lot of favourable comments, tried their Spicy salty chicken with rice. The decoration of Hong Lin is like a local Cha Chaan Teng, however comfortable and tidy enough. They serve a plate of white rice with 2 salty chicken legs on the top as well as a spicy salt sauce. The rice is cooked nicely, salt and full of fragrance. It is quite yummy to take with salty chicken. As they are using frozen chicken, its tast is different from fresh chicken but acceptable. To me, it is not the best salty chicken in town.

2025 August 3★ With so many restaurants in HK, this is so so.. it's relatively cheap and there's many options. Good: fried style dishes, their salted baked chicken. The bad: everything else lacked 鑊氣。wok flavor. 雞碑粗麵 $66 HKD pretty good, soft and tender and flavored well. would recommend 斑睛炒河 $57 HKD sauce wasn't good, it's a pass 菜心 $25 - for the price, it's ok. 咸魚雞粒炒飯 $64HKD - not enough salted fish and again lacked 鑊氣

Great quality salted chicken fried rice with unbeatable price. Polite staff 鹽焗雞炒飯物超所值, 員工有禮貌 Add 15HKD to replace white rice with fried rice, Add 12HKD for a cold drink or 11 for a hot one. I paid total 74HKD for hot milk tea A pretty great portion of chicken, the meat is soft and relatively tender. Sure, it can be even softer but it will likely be fattier, I find this a great middle ground. The fried rice is a simple egg fried rice, it has some hard rice bites but overall a very enjoyable plate of fried rice that is not very oily. Staff are very friendly, which is honestly rare at Cha Chaan Tang, but knowing most people in the industry work with a minimum wage, it’s understandable, so it’s extra refreshing when staff are friendly. Will come again. The take away cup for hot drink is sooooo pretty. 雞肉算滑唔鞋。如果再滑啲，好多時會好肥，或加咗料，所以我鍾意呢間算原汁原味。加15蚊就可以有炒飯，11蚊熱飲，12凍飲。炒飯唔花巧，有幾粒硬飯，但夠火氣，唔太鹹，好香，幾好味。啲亞姐好 nice,見我朋友睇唔明餐牌，主動問要唔要英文餐牌。會再嚟。外賣杯好靚。

A local place , local food for local people. The chicken rice is very consistent and you can't go wrong, must get the one with the fried rice rather than plain rice to heighten the experience.
