Overall terrible experience, but progressively got worse by the minute. First the rice paper rolls came out, probably the biggest rice paper rolls I have ever seen, to a point where they are really difficult to eat without falling apart. The usual sauce for the rice paper rolls had a weird taste I had never before, almost as if it was off. Then came pork chop which also had a weird taste to it, finally a burnt fried rice which smelled burned immediately when it came onto the table. We then started complaining, they explained the kitchen staff is new, an interesting detail at best but not an excuse to send very obvious bad food out to customers. We replaced the burnt fried rice with a hainan chicken rice, but even that rice was off, it was overcooked and one big muddy ball of rice. It came with sauces which again tasted like no other hainan chicken sauce I had before. Awful taste experience, only topping it off with inability to pay with anything else but cash, even if the shop was plastered with octopus payment signs they only accepted cash. Close to scam, stay away...

The portion was super huge with lots of rice noodles. We couldn't finish the noodles at last and the noodles became soaky. The ingredients included raw beef, beef brisket, beef balls and Vietnamese sausages. The amount of the ingredients was not that generous compared to the noodles.
My dad got Cold Rice Vermicelli with Deep Fried Shrimp Cake. With a fried golden surface, the shrimp cake was thick and chewy. Dipping it with sweet and sour sauce increased its attractiveness.
My mom ordered Cold Rice Vermicelli with Lemongrass Pork Chop. The pork chop was cut in large pieces with a tender texture. The Lemongrass enhanced the savoury of the pork chop. . Price was reasonable as the portion was of huge amount. The floor of the resto was a bit sticky, so I guess its hygiene needed to...
Read moreBig portions. Pretty tasty. And they actually have a few vegetarian options.
I saw tofu puffs in the vegetarian cold vermicelli dish, so I asked if they could do tofu puffs instead of beef in the pho, but they said no. But I know I have weird dietary preferences so I'm used to that, haha.
I got the shredded chicken pho and my companion got the beef pho. Decent flavor, crunchy fried onions on top, portions so big we definitely couldn't finish. I won't say it's amazing, but it gets the job done and...
