The place isn't fancy, but the food is good and we keep coming back. We always get the peppers & beef with pan-fried vermicelli and the salt & pepper tofu.
My partner is a local and he likes it too, so don't worry, I'm not just a gwailo with a skewed idea of good Chinese food, haha. IDK why the average rating is low - maybe those people need to try the dishes we've tried.
Service has improved over time, or maybe they're just extra nice to us now that they recognize us as regulars. And they often give out free homemade pudding desserts...

埋單$281價錢,絕對係一級收費啦! 記然係一級收費,咁就用一級要求去評吓餐廳同食點心質素.
首先由天花,牆身以至地下都好鬼污糟! 牆身好多塵,我地一路食,D姐姐就一路掃地攪衛生趕收工! 以前幫襯就掛住吹水無留意環境,今次幫襯因為人客唔多,所以留意到環境問題原來咁差.
點心方面,蝦餃用上原隻海蝦新鮮彈牙鮮甜,但蝦餃皮厚咗D! 留意一籠只得兩粒! size 又唔見得特別大粒!
叉燒包平庸,無咩特別.
鳳爪如果制作時炸得耐D,D皮同骨可以炸得更透的話,更入味.
牛仔骨一係太大件,一係就碎甩甩,黑椒味香濃,牛仔肉入味.
叉燒腸偷工減料! 得兩條!
最後唯一滿分係蜂蜜脆麻花,入口即溶又香脆,蜜汁夠濃夠甜!
坐近廚房門口,不停聽到欠單追單,追得特別急因為趕下場收工,又話趕住攪衛生 (但係點解環境都係污糟糟?)! 趕客無形壓力大增!...
