Bella Napoli — Restaurant in Shanghai

Dianping ratings were pretty high and my expectations were raised the moment I stepped into the restaurant, seeing the whole European vibes in the decor and the wood-fired oven. I'm glad the food quality met my expectations. The Calamari was crisp and not oily, cooked to perfection. Ordered their Cantina Pizza, generously topped with rocket leaves, Parma Ham and cherry tomatoes. Perfect chewy crusty edge, cheese pull, thin base, it checked off all I expect and love of a pizza.

Great Italian food in Shanghai. Sometimes you are dumpling-ed out if you've been traveling in China for a while. We hit this for New Year's eve and liked the proper Napoli Pizza from a proper Napoli Wood Burning Pizza Oven so much we returned a couple of nights later. Festive atmosphere. Great location! Located next to busiest street of Ningjing West Road. Read tones of good comments and come with high expectation. Ordered pizza con Prosciutto en Rucola (Parma ham and rocket). It was a 12 inch pizza in size. More than full for a man, especially the base is a thick one. Ham can tell it came from italy but not in high grade. Rocket is fresh but not enough quantity to give a balance for the salty ham. Overall it is not bad! With this reasonable price in this expensive area, how can I...
