I'm still thinking about these amazing dumplings. The place is not too hard to find and signage is good. Look for the food centre and it's on the 2nd level. English menu is provided and you order as soon as you walk in, collect your dumplings and find a Table. I ordered Pork (4) Vegetarian (4) Seafood and prawn (6) Spicy beef noodles The pork ones were the best and they were explosive of soup so make sure you're ready. I'm not convinced the vegetarian was just vegetables- they were okay but a little powdery. The spicy beef noodles were a nice accompaniment but nothing to rave about. Portion sizing above was great for 2 people and it came out to be 50rmb ($10 Au) I definitely would go back over and over.

It has been many years since we ate at the original old stall at Wujiang Road abd then the second floor of the nearby mall, and it was a pleasant surprise to find that they are occupying a new location, which is more spacious. Service was quick and we both got our orders within 5 minutes. Staff also cleared tables quickly when customers left. The panfried dumplings had a nice crusty base, and the meat was seasoned well. There was also quite a lot of juice within the dumpling. Worth a visit.

I tried sooo many outlets and this xiao yang sheng jian is equally so good! The original ones are sooooo juicy and the skin is so crispy. The soup burst out when I had a bite of it. It’s the best sheng jian bao! I absolutely love it. If you are around the corner, do drop by. The shop is located one the 2nd storey.

Just beware that it is in a shopping mall on the first floor therefore slightly complicated to find but show the people in the road the name and they will show you where it is, after...
