M2 — Restaurant in Shanghai

I went there once for a birthday, everything was good (except maybe the alcohol but it is Shanghai anyway).

Then we were there yesterday night for another birthday. We got the bus through a promoter, everything was still okay. But when I arrived at the nightclub, everyone signed except me and I received a yellow wristband instead of a blue one. I asked why and first, they didn't want to tell me. So we pushed and insisted (all the groups, we were around 25 persons) and they finally answered. Just because I have an Asian face and not look like an European person, I was discriminated and put in a category. I told them that just for the principle, I should be on the guest list with my friends, not excluded.

• They answered me that they do their job (I can understand their position). Even the promoter said nothing ! (she could have said something, it is not the first time this person organized birthdays in M2). But if all the group would not have insisted, they would not have talk to their boss and asked for "reparation". They finally apologized but, because we insisted. Otherwise, nothing would have be done !

So for sure, we would not come back to this nightclub and I do not recommend...

Its big club but problem is very crowded always , yesterday my girlfriend was hurt in her feet due to some stupid drunk people , they dont know how to dance , she was hurt very badly...

A really good Club open all 7 days and is good every night. Good prices for drinks, good people, good music. Love going...
