La Chicha su Mare Brasas Peruanas — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

We came to this restaurant looking for another that was 2 blocks away, however we saw the big Peruvian flag so we stopped to check into the menu and review and found more good reviews about this one so we decided to go in, I can say for me that lived in Peru for 2 years food was amazing, the chicha morada was perfect, the ceviche was great and included canchita, the papa a la huancaína super good and the Lomo Saltado a blast, the beef texture was delicious, juice and definitely I will highly recommend it to anyone that it's looking for an authentic Peruvian restaurant outside of Peru. An amazing culinary experience, the place was also great and it included musica andina...

LO PEOR!!! Y apenado con mi familia a la que estaba invitando a almorzar. Hacía muuuucho tiempo no era tan mal atendido en un restaurante y no me arrepentía de haber escogido un lugar para almorzar. La culpa la tengo yo, pues parece que la administración del restaurante les paga a los cuidadores de carros para que lleven la gente al restaurante y me dejé convencer, sabiendo que hay tan buenos opciones en la zona. Ustedes no se dejen llevar por ellos, por favor!!! Casi 2 horas!!! y no llegaba el almuerzo. Con mentiras nos retuvieron: ya sale, ya están emplatando, el suyo es el próximo. Como no pedidos bebidas alcohólicas, pues la espera, aunque con buena charla, no aguanta las 2 horas... noooo, que caos. Cuando llegó... todo salado. Buen sabor (al menos) pero luego de salir tocó beber 2 litros de agua. Lo mejor... o peor, diría: un señor (el administrador, creo yo) ofreció disculpas y para eso una cortesía entre postre o vino. Dijimos postre. Ya terminando le pedimos el postre al mesero y con cara de asombro dijo: POSTRE??? (como diciendo, no hay), siiii, postre!, repetimos en coro. Pasaron 15 minutos y nunca llegó la cortesía (o mejor, la descortesía). Que triste. Salimos de lo más aburridos y yo... super apenado con mis familiares :(. QUE MAL No volvería y cero...
