SPLENDID EXPERIENCE! We loved our time here from start to end. It is so nice to find places where they think of every detail.
1-We had empanadas argentinas as a courtesy starter.
2-For appetizers we tried: -Brie cheese with red berries (THIS IS A MUST, LOVED IT!) , -Provoleta (delicious) and, -Argentinian chorizo (very good).
3-Main courses we ordered: T-bone steak with mozarella tomatoes (recommend this), term as ordered, good temperature and quality. -Cuadril/ tri tip with mozarella tomatoes, it was delicious, medium term was the best choice. Ribeye steak with mashed eggplant/aubergine, good quality; a bit more cooked than what I ordered, but it was good and I did not want to return it, although they offered to. -Grape & lychees and strawberry & lychees juices were deli.
4- They have a wide selection of wine and liquor, I had a digestive , Green Italian Martini wine drink.
5- For dessert we had one flan, we were really full but it was so good we couldn't miss it.
6- Service was IMPECABLE. We were greeted and escorted to our table. Our waitress was Johanna and she was super nice and attentive to needs, constantly checking up on us. -Carlos was attentive to details and ensured we had s nice time (either the manager or owner). Reserving a table was easy from Google Maps.
I highly recommend you visit this place, it had been a while since I had such a pleasant time in a restaurant in Bogotá (and I certainly don't write such detailed reviewed for all...
Read moreIt is a very good place, we had the bifé gaucho and the gaucho hamburger. The steak was a little undercooked as how we have ordered (3/4) but it tasted awesome. As we went through the meal and as the meat went cooler the taste changed and it became chewie... So eat it fast. The meat of the burguer was just ok, but the chorizo was unbelievable... It was perfect. I ordered a limonade no sugar no ice and I got a little sugar and one small cube of ice, no biggie but not exactly what I ordered. I told the waiter and she changed the order. I also would have accepted to just have gotten the fork to just have piked the ice but they were switching the silverware to bring the correct silverware for meat eating. So the service was very good, not perfect, the dishes were very good, not perfect, the ambience actually was really nice... We also had a glass of wine and the somelier recommended one to go with our order and it was very good for it's price... Price is in the range of this kind of places... Wine was inexpensive... If I could give half a star this restaurant would have get 4.5 but... So it was very good,...
Read moreWow, wow, wow! So, this place we found by accident. We originally was going to go to El Mirador Paloma BUT, we saw the reviews and decided not! So this place is located in the better area of Bogota. Lots of Audi, Mercedes high end cars parked everywhere(first impression). Then as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by Jefferson who was the manager. This individual treated us as if we've known, hung out, was at each other's wedding etc.... Customer service was what he was about! Recommended which cuts to buy, bottle of wine to drink, and desserts to choose. Bill was roughly $410,000.00 peso which in US dollars comes to $125. That was for 6 people, bottle of wine, beer, and Pepsi. Here's the kicker, Jefferson also gave us. 10% discount and a free glass of wine. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone traveling Bogota. Ohhhhh, I forgot he also hooked us up with free empanadas to try! To anyone that goes, your...
