We ordered several dishes here, and overall the experience was mixed. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai was quite disappointing – it didn’t taste authentic at all. The flavor was almost absent, and the dish included zucchini and carrots, which don’t traditionally belong in Pad Thai. Even though it was a vegetarian version, the tofu itself had no taste, the spices were missing, and the noodles weren’t the typical rice noodles you’d expect. Most importantly, the Pad Thai sauce was lacking – no fish sauce, no soy sauce, and no proper balance of flavors. It felt like the core of the recipe was missing.
On the positive side, the glass noodle salad was flavorful and enjoyable, though the chicken inside had a strange, slightly powdery texture. Still, with the shrimp it tasted quite good. Another dish we tried – stir-fried mushrooms with cashews and rice – was actually very tasty and definitely worth recommending.
The dessert, however, was another letdown. The tapioca pudding was far too liquid, lacked flavor, and felt incomplete – I’ve had much better versions elsewhere, so this was disappointing.
Overall, some dishes had potential, but the Pad Thai and the dessert really need improvement if the restaurant wants to offer an...
Read moreAsian cuisine includes several major regional cuisines: East Asian, Southeast Asian, South Asian, Central Asian, and Middle Eastern/Western Asian. A cuisine is a characteristic style of cooking practices and traditions,[1] usually associated with a specific culture. Asia, being the largest and most populous continent, is home to many cultures, many of which have their own characteristic cuisine.
Ingredients common to many cultures in the East and Southeast regions of the continent include rice, ginger, garlic, sesame seeds, chilies, dried onions, soy, and tofu. Stir frying, steaming, and deep frying are common cooking methods.
While rice is common to most Asian cuisines, different varieties are popular in the various regions. Basmati rice is popular in the subcontinent, Jasmine rice is often found across the southeast, while long-grain rice is popular in China and short-grain in Japan and Korea.[2]
Curry is a common dish in southern, southeastern Asia and Japan and also found to some extent in other East Asian cuisines. Curry dishes with origins in India and other northern South Asian countries usually have a yogurt base while those in southern India, Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia generally use coconut milk as their...
Read moreThis restaurant is HUGE and sectioned out. They have patio on the side and 2 levels (even after seated you continue to realize there are even more sections). Definitely a very cozy and hip dining experience.
Food = ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ Prices are reasonable although i feel the portion is small. Not sure the food was spectacular (it wasn't horrible). The vegetarian Phad Thai was a bit saucy. The vegetarian wonton soup felt overcooked (both the wontons and the egg noodles were soft). Perhaps meat dishes may taste much better as ny review is based on vegetarian options i had.
Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ Staff is friendly and helpful. They have barcode for English menu (but very slow to load). They were attentive to get you seated and take your order. Perhaps it was late at night but find the food took a while to arrive and to wave someone down for the bill or for anything else.
I think it's recommended for at least a visit as the atmosphere was amazing.
🌱 Lots of vegetarian options
