However, the wait time for food can be quite long, even when the restaurant isn’t at full capacity. It would be great to see some improvements in efficiency, especially during peak hours. While the menu remains extensive and appealing, the food quality at this location can be inconsistent. Some dishes are flavorful and well-prepared, while others seem rushed or lacking the freshness, specially on the salmon, expected from a brand like Crepes & Waffles.

A number of options for vegans including the salad bar. Finding a nice, rich, large green salad is not easy in Medellín. Though the bowls are on the small side and this is not the American favorite "all you can eat," you can still load up and a great variety of vegetables and greens.

The lentil or soy (sin queso) soups are hearty and tasty: the Soy is a squash soup that was particularly welcome on a cool rainy evening.

The vegan Bolognese crepe was on the rich side. The light greens were delicious. Wish there had been more of them as a counterpoint to the heavy tofu-laden sauce.

Una experiencia profundamente decepcionante.

Llegamos mi mamá, mi hermana y yo al restaurante Crepes & Waffles con la intención de disfrutar una buena comida, pero desde el primer momento fuimos completamente ignoradas por el personal. Las meseras no se tomaron la molestia de ubicarnos, así que elegimos una mesa y nos sentamos. Una de ellas nos entregó los menús y simplemente se fue.

El restaurante no estaba lleno, lo cual hacía más evidente el desinterés hacia nuestra mesa. Atendieron a dos mesas que llegaron después de nosotras, lo que dio la clara impresión de que fueron priorizados por ser extranjeros.

Intentamos pedir en tres ocasiones:

En la primera, la mesera nos vio y pasó de largo.

En la segunda, le dijimos amablemente: "Buenas tardes, estamos listas para ordenar", a lo que respondió solo "buenas" y siguió caminando.

En la tercera, mi mamá pidió a otra mesera que tomara el pedido, y la respuesta fue un grito: "¡SÍ, SÍ, YA LA ATIENDO!", seguido de un tono burlón mientras cantaba una canción. No solo fue una actitud irrespetuosa, sino que nuevamente ninguna se acercó a nuestra mesa, pese a que estaban disponibles.

Después de 20 minutos sin atención alguna, nos retiramos con una enorme tristeza por lo sucedido y sin ninguna intención de volver o recomendar el restaurante.
