Well, I've been there four times and I ate there two times and both times I didn't feel good the next day but I still like the place has a nice ambience so I would go and just order a snack and drink with the big group of people and spend a lot of money But after this Monday, I will never go back again. I came into town last minute and it was very hot out and it was Monday. I was coming with six people on a reservation. I got there I was wearing Banana Republic shorts and a button-down polo. And the really smart Dorman told me that he will not accept me to come in because I was dressed inappropriately Then, my friend, who Was already inside waiting for me. He came outside tried to talk to the doorman. He got treated very rudely. My friend went back again and tried to beg him, and said yes Now at this point they call me and they tell me we have to wait for them to get the table ready my friend was in the bar. They said there was about seven people in the restaurant. Why am I waiting for 10 minutes for them to get the table ready at this point the Dorman was just being obnoxious. It's too bad it's a nice place. I found okus. To be a much nicer venue and much more hospitable but to be treated like that is ridiculous. I hope someone Management reads us and realizes you can't tell a robot. Security guy that he can't make exceptions what a freaking joke. Every time I go, I spend a fortune. Clearly, they don't need my money and if someone reads us I wouldn't waste your money...
Read moreThis is one of the WORST restaurants in Medellin. I tour the city looking for new restaurants and I came here tonight. The ambiance is nice, but that is the only nice thing I have to say about this place.
I was seated right next to the DJ which made it hard to hear. I called my server, Ana, and ordered the Pescado Al Pastor. She told me it would take 45 minutes to prepare and I told her I would order something else. I ordered the guacamole with shrimp and octopus. This dish had no flavor. Not sure why it’s called Mexican Soul because it is lacking soul in the taste of the food. It was bland and wasn’t seasoned at all. After I finished the guacamole, Ana told me she would bring the Pescado Al Pastor now. I told her that I said I didn’t want it and she insisted that I did and said I couldn’t cancel the order. She said I could take it with me, but I didn’t order it to begin with. She brought it out anyway and I told her to throw it away. She still added it on my check and charged me 150 mil instead of the 100 mil that was on the menu for the Pescado Al Pastor. Then asked if I wanted to include a tip for the service. CRAZY!!!
Avoid this place with your life because the food is terrible and the servers will try to scam you. Don’t say I...
