We dined here with a few close friends for dinner previously, the location was lovely, presentation was beautiful and the overall vibe was great. Unfortunately, dairy intolerant people, vegan or allergy people beware, every dish will contain some form of dairy product, which is NOT stated on the menu anywhere, including dishes that's name would not suggest containing dairy products. The menu does not cater for persons with allergies nor does it indicate whether the dishes contain dairy, nuts or other allergens. With this, waitresses are not aware of the contents of the dish as this has not been communicated nor trained for the waiting staff, I feel that this should have been provided for the staff in general, unsure if this is a managerial error is simply lack of care for it's staff and patrons. Furthermore it came to our attention that each item that has been delivered to the table then sent back for various reasons outside of the waitresses fault will then be CHARGED to that said waitress or waiters take home for the day. I find this highly disturbing, unjust and highly unprofessional, when this issue was not realted to staff nor kitchen. Clearly this is a menu error and would fall on management to fix EVEN before an incident like this would occur, or at least provide the knowledge and adequate training to your staff and kitchen surrounding allergies, various allergens, their outcome and potential consequences to said patron. Sincerely grateful to the staff and kitchen for their much appreciated assistance in this situation, could have been worse but thankfully was not due to their understanding and fast response to the issue raised! They went above and beyond, cannot say the same for the owners that hid behind a door so they wouldn't be seen... "Professionalism"
I am glad that we were able to educate and inform your staff of these errors and issues, unfortunately it should have been provided...

Read moreOur group of 7 had an incredible dining experience at Zaaika Indian Restaurant in Medellín. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and seated comfortably despite being a larger party. The staff was attentive, friendly, and very patient, making sure everyone in our group felt taken care of.
The food was truly outstanding and authentic. We ordered a variety of dishes—soft, freshly baked naan, perfectly cooked basmati rice, and rich, flavorful curries bursting with spices. Each plate was served hot and fresh, with portions that were generous and perfect for sharing. Everyone at our table was impressed, from those familiar with Indian cuisine to first-time tasters.
What made the evening even more special was the atmosphere. The restaurant itself is cozy and colorful, with décor that celebrates Indian culture. Adding to the experience was the live music—beautiful Indian songs that created such a lively and festive mood. It felt like more than just dinner; it was a cultural experience that transported us back to India for the night.
Zaaika stands out not just for its food, but for the complete experience it offers: authentic flavors, warm service, and live entertainment that makes the evening memorable. It’s the perfect spot whether you’re dining as a couple, with friends, or in a large group like ours. Without a doubt, this is a must-visit restaurant in Medellín, and we’re already looking forward...
