I ordered a salad with the protein selection of the day (via Rappi). The protein of the day turned out to be fried chicken. That’s not cooth or fair. After something is heavily breaded and then deep fried— it no longer can be in the category of “photo of the day”. But okay. I gambled and lost on that one. In which, i will leave the kitchen with good direction: never put hot anything, especially fried chicken, on top of fresh salad greens. The heat and oil drip down and ruin the greens 👌
I also ordered the key lime pie …which is what prompted me to leave a review to warm others. It may look good but it’s not. At all. Occasionally a slight wisp of lime flavor but only maybe. The consistency gives away the very cheap ingredients used it create it. == sugar gelatin and additives. I think they’re mass produced. If they said they make them here— that would be more disgraceful. Zero flavor and I love key lime pie!! I ate two small bites and it’s going in the trash. Of which I had this item saved on Rappi for several weeks because I was looking forward to it. No redeeming qualities of that postes.

Read moreI had arrived at around 1pm and had ordered the menu of the day which was a juice, ajiaco, and the main meal which I’m not quite sure of the name. Everything was quite delicious and the portion size was way bigger than I had imagined it to be so that was a plus. One complaint I will say I had though was a bit of the customer service.
When I arrived there was no staff in site and I had to wait around 5-7 mins to get a menu and later on, when I asked for the check at the table, my waiter seemed to have forgotten until I actually went up to the cash register. So overall, the enviornment and food is really good but the customer service was a bit questionable. Still interested in trying other dishes from this cafe though.
It’s a nice area to read, use the computer, or just have a nice meal at. The lighting gradually gets darker the farther you go in. You first walk into the outside part of the cafe so it’s just the natural light, then you go into an offical room with a couple of lights, then turn left and it’s gets pretty dark because they don’t appear to use lights. There’s a decent amount of seating tables all around the...
Read moreI recently stopped by Café Zeppelin and had a mixed experience. I ordered the Oreo cheesecake, a small coffee, and some carbonated water. The food and drinks were decent and came out in a reasonable amount of time—no complaints there.
I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because the place itself is actually really cool. The retro interior and chill patio make it a great spot to relax and unwind.
However, I gave the service 2 stars. I had two separate interactions during my visit that left me with the clear impression that my presence—and business—weren’t particularly welcomed. I’m not one to jump to conclusions, but sometimes you can just feel when you’re not wanted. That vibe can’t be ignored.
I’ve left many reviews from all over the world, and I pride myself on being honest and respectful. That said, I’ll always keep it 100 for my fellow travelers, because we are the ones who keep small businesses like this alive—and we deserve to be treated accordingly.
Would I go back? Maybe for the vibe—but I’d hope for a warmer...
