Santa Leña El Tesoro — Restaurant in Medellín

Service was inattentive except for upon arrival, and it was very unorganized. I was attended by 5 different workers, no joke. I ordered a small side of skim milk to add to my coffee and I brought a full glass with a straw. They charged me 7.000 COP for this addition the size of an espresso shot lol...

The flavor of the food was good but the sauce it was topped with was cold.

Depending on where you sit, you get music and noise from 2-3 other spots.

Solía tener una buena impresión de Santa Leña, pero lamentablemente mi visita a la sede en El Tesoro fue una gran decepción. A pesar de estar ubicado en un lugar estratégico y turístico, el servicio fue pésimo. Las empleadas estaban más concentradas en hablar entre ellas que en atender a los clientes. Aun con el restaurante prácticamente vacío, tardaron en tomarnos la orden, y una vez lo hicieron, la gestión fue increíblemente lenta.

Un simple croissant tomó más de 40 minutos en llegar. Peor aún, la orden llegó incompleta y los palitos de queso que solicitamos después tardaron otros 40 minutos… y llegaron crudos. Lo más frustrante fue que, al hacer el reclamo, las empleadas se rieron en lugar de ofrecer una disculpa o solución.

Es triste que un sitio con tanto potencial y visibilidad tenga un servicio tan deficiente. Este tipo de experiencias dejan una mala imagen de la ciudad para quienes vienen a visitarla....
