2025 Review Update The place is still beautiful. High-quality sushi, upscale but taking a star away after my recent visit. They took prices for the sushi off the menu- if you're eating here you probably don't care about the price but it's more about honesty and integrity vs sketchy sales tactics. I asked for a recommendation - just as I did last time and this man sold me an $18 sushi roll with 10 pieces. Very different from my last experience. I wasn't impressed with Manual's sale tactics and he wasn't very attentive - I was waiting for 15 minutes for my check because he disappeared and I had to bother another server. Disappointed considering my last visit was so amazing. Annoyed because the recommendation wasn't even that good and it was the most expensive sushi roll I've ever heard of so he didn't recommend what he liked- he just recommended the most expensive thing on the menu. Also, I mentioned that I have a gluten sensitivity and please check with the cooks to make sure that what he's serving doesn't have gluten. Then he brings soy and teriyaki sauce with a smile 🤦🏽‍♀️ Truly Unimpressed.

2023 Review Honestly some of the best sushi I've ever had in my life. Super bougie place. At first I was a little skeptical because they don't have prices on their menu which is a red flag for me but I got two fancy half rolls and a fancy mango spritzer drink for $18 including tip. Yes, it's on the expensive side for one person at lunchtime in Colombia but so worth it and this place is crazy fancy. Hugo was my waiter and he was great, knowledgeable and handsome which is an obvious plus. He recommended both rolls and the drink and it was so delicious. I also appreciated that he didn't insist on the most expensive thing on the menu but recommended something delicious. The place is absolutely pristine. Everything is so clean. They even have a bathroom attendant. They have vegetables growing out of the wall. You can see the fresh cuts of fish when you go in. They have a beautiful bar and a ton of cocktail and wine options. The staff is dressed so professionally. I loved it. Will definitely return, sadly my fiance does not share my love of sushi so I went during lunch while he was at work and didn't want to drink liquor at 12 pm. But the drink menu was incredible! Man this spot is a special one. The two times I’ve been to Medellin I’ve visited this spot 4 times. It’s just a must try experience while In Colombia. I’d highly recommend the tacos especially the New Yorker one it’s made with New York strip but it was so tender and juicy like a barbacoa style tenderness but with the flavor of chicken tinga almost. Everyone I was dining with was just as mind blown at that one. The sushi selections are amazing too and everyone has their own little preferences when it comes to that but you have many options. The desserts are amazing the Arequipa one is the star of the show but their tres leche is great also. The atmosphere and vibe of the place is amazing and I end up Shazaming a lot of the songs they play there. Live dj, nice bar atmosphere too. This is a must go if you’re in Medellin. We were all so disappointed with the service; definitely substandard. We were celebrating a birthday party. Ambience was ok, yes they do have nice decor, My cocktail was average, food was ok. Our two waiters were extremely rude and impolite. I can handle many things- but not poor service. Specially when there are so many other amazing restaurants in the city. I recommend you do not visit this place- and I’ll even give you an alternative- the place were we all had dinner last night - it’s call Panka. At the end what really made me mad was the waiter slamming the bill on the table and just saying we are closing. How about a little more friendliness, we were not the last table in the restaurant at the time. I address it with the manager, she did apologize.
