This place is fantastic if you want to spend an afternoon or wish to practice your patience.

The service is almost glacial, with the one waiter seemingly willfully ignoring us despite our frantic waving from the corner.

However, the food is great. We had the tuna tower and seaweed salad, and are waiting to order our main while we write this review, but were looking for something to do while waiting.

Whiling away a lazy afternoon with a couple of carafes of sake and listening to the bizarrely varied playlist (ranging from rap to French carni to 90s rock) has been quite lovely. Seriously, if you are in no hurry this place is a great place to spend a couple of hours in a town with limited options.

Nice views of...

In short: You should eat and drink here lol In long: On our first night in Costa, friends brought us here, raving about the sushi and cocktails. Between the four of us we had a Sunset roll, Spicy Tuna roll, Tuna Tower, and something else. All were equally as good to what we eat in Naples, Florida, USA. And that says a lot. The drinks were nearly as good, though some were a little sweeter or boozier than we might have liked. And then there was the ambiance. The vibe, if you will 🤙🏼 We got the best table; back left on the deck. You'll know it when you see it. Lighting, breeze, music, etc. All aspects of this place sing Pura Vida; pure life. I...

Great sushi place! I was so glad to find a sushi place after eating too much rice and beans. The atmosphere and music is nice and so is the service. The miso soup was authentic with an interesting add of avocado, the green tea was nice as-well. I also liked the salted edamame with a hint of spice. We ordered the summer roll and tuna tower and the summer roll was FANTASTIC by far the best sushi I’ve ever had, the creaminess of the mayonnaise fit perfectly with the crunchiness of the tempura. The tuna tower was nice but not...

A must for us every year we visit CR. Highly suggest ordering a sushi boat (for 2) since there's multiple rolls. Skip the cheapest boat, you'll thank me! It's good but not nearly as good as the others. The sushi is fresh and made after you order which takes time. This will not be a fast experience so relax, enjoy your company and don't be afraid to get up and ask your server for more drinks. Everyone is on Tico time. Hands down some of the best sushi you'll ever eat.
