BLOWN AWAY to find the BEST Indian food in CR tonight! I have been craving Indian food back home in Northern California that just hits all the right spots and haven’t been able to satisfy it. But THIS. I’m sad knowing I won’t be able to order once I leave.

I debated even coming after a 12 hour excursion feeling absolutely disgusting. I just wanted to shower and go to bed, but something just told me that I had to believe all the previous reviews and give this place a try. TOTALLY worth it. My husband also thought the same despite his skepticism that this place could surpass his prior Indian food experiences.

We ordered the “safe” items - chilly chicken, onion salad, butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, garlic naan, cheese naan, onion kulcha. Safe does NOT mean boring by any means here. The flavors, textures, combos…all 10/10.

We had a very disappointing and hurtful experience here. Being from India, where vegetarian food is taken very seriously, we clearly mentioned that we are pure vegetarians and ordered 2 full Kadhai Paneer with some naans. At the same time, there was also a separate order of chicken curry. Shockingly, the chef used the same spatula from the chicken dish to prepare our vegetarian food—without even washing it. I happened to notice this by chance, and when we raised the concern, the staff was unapologetic and even rude.

As vegetarians, this was extremely upsetting and disrespectful. Cross-contamination like this is not just careless—it completely breaks trust. We felt deeply disappointed and had no choice but to cancel our order and leave.

Food was delicious and flavoursome & the only reason I gave 4 stars was because the service was terrible. I’d like to think maybe we got unlucky, especially reading the reviews. It was a busy Saturday evening, we were a family of 5, 3 young children and we had to wait for 1hr 15 mins before our starter was served. I would say the food was worth the wait however we did only get 4 small pieces of chicken in both our main dishes. And in the whole time we were waiting, no one apologised, explained or asked if we would like any drinks! Plus other customers came after us and left before us, ordering the same food!!!
