Lori restaurant is fantastic in every way! The food is incredible - made from scratch ingredients, carefully and delightfully prepared, with perfect seasoning and flavor. The service is wonderful - kindness and thoughtfulness abounds. The ambiance at the Dominical location is relaxed and shady under a canopy with a light breeze.

Exquisite vegan Israeli cuisine!! The Halva smoothie was absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced! I had never had such a drink, and it was amazing! My husband loved his artisanal Passionfruit Probiotic drink too. For main dishes, the Buddha Bowl with chik’n shawarma was delicious and very filling. Quinoa, lentils, sweet potato, homemade tofu from fresh soybeans, and a smooth tahini! And my husband had the famous Lori veggie burger - he raved about it too. Freshly baked potato wedges for fries.

My new favorite restaurant in the area. They have opened up in the iast year and I've been back and forth for the last 4 years to this area of Costa Rica. They are the most tasty and healthy food in the Dominical and Uvita area. The are all plant based vegan and also have gluten-free options. The family is truly incredible and so passionate about their food. If you go early get the Israeli breakfast. If you just want a smoothie my favorite is the Halva smoothie, so delicious. Their Shawrma hummus special is one of my favorite main dishes besides their vegan burger (I get it with plaintains and their special vegan lebanese cheese) with a side if their potatoes ( their version of fries with homemade ketchup). If you're in Dominical, don't leave town without visiting LORI!! It was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip - the food is just outstanding (we had the Humus supreme and falafel pita and a beer) - BEST humus we've had in YEARS, and the family is just delightful - we got to have a nice conversation with Shahar, the nicest, sweetest young man (son of the owner) - who is just wonderful! His two puppies were running around (we're massive dog lovers, so that added to the experience). The whole experience was exceptional - great food, great atmosphere, great family, and just absolutely five stars.
