This rate is for the restaurant, not the accommodation. We came on recommendation in Lonely Planet guide. Ordered ceviche, house salad, seafood soup, fish fajitas and grilled fish with mashed potatoes. Be careful, ceviche are ‘mediterranean style’. That means it’s soused in the oil, savoured by garlic. It’s not written in the menu and staff didn’t inform us while ordering. We were asked if we like the dish, we said that we expected ceviche as we know, and that we actually don’t like this. They returned it with apologies. Appreciate profesional treatment from the staff. House salad would be good, if it doesn’t swim in herb mayonnaise. This “dressing” kills all the flavoures of remaining content. We didn’t finish. The bread attached is classic whole grain toast bread. Seafood soup ok, not special. Fish fajitas and grilled fish were ordinary. Would not recommend for the low quality/price ratio. We’ve visited several restaurants in Montezuma which offers way better experience in same price category. One star up for the...

Terrible service. Prices unclear.
Service: We asked the waiter if the beer was still 1000, as we had gone here before. He confirmed. When the check arrived, the beer was being charged at 1500 each one. I asked the manager why and he yelled at us and told us we "didn't spend enough money on his business". I tried to dialog with him, telling him we were returning customers and the beer used to be 1000 and we even asked the waiter. He continued yelling at us and kicked us out of the restaurant.
You can check his attitude on the responses he leaves to justified bad reviews.
Food: not bad, not great. Definitely not worth what they charge.
Atmosphere: The place is alright although dark and full of mosquitoes. There are also cats that roam between the tables and even get on top of the furniture. Not...
Read moreA hidden gem tucked away in front of Montezuma beach, just a minutes walk away from the main shops and strip. We dined there for the evening and had a lovely experience. The server was attentive and showed care for what he was serving and making. The music and ambience was perfect with two cute cats lounging about the outdoor restaurant, seemingly the real owners of the place. They were friendly but watch out for the tabby one (Floyd) as he got a bit grumpy after too many stokes! The fajitas and the seafood pasta were both delicious!! Both very generous portions but no problem as it was so tasty! Definitely would recommend and I have a feeling it would be more scenic and prettier in the day due to the view of the white sand beach....
