I was in San Jose for all of July and this was the highlight of my stay. A small, beautiful bakery decorated with plants, the baked goods are almost as good as the energy of the staff-- which is truly the best part of Puralma. I couldn't resist going there everyday to try all of the different pastries, which include savory and sweet (like their delicious croissants con jamon y queso, or my favorite which was an absolutely amazing passionfruit pie). I was thinking about what I was going to get from here the whole ride from Puerto Viejo and when it started raining I was worried I wasn’t going to make it in time before they closed. Luckily I made it on time! I helped myself to the last slice of lemon pie (highly recommended!)
