My husband and I enjoyed celebrating his birthday there. We were lucky to have found a ramen restaurant with vegan options. It's absolutely a gem! Food tastes amazingly delicious. The vegan noodle I ordered has lots of toppings including a slice of grilled tomato (not typical, yet so flavorful). Presentation is beautifully done. From the carefully prepared food, you can tell the kitchen crew really put their hearts to make dining there an unforgettable experience. Great service and ambience too. We had a chance to talk to the restaurant owner. He clearly has passion to make delicious and creative food in San Jose. Everything is store made. We loved the vegan kimchi. We've had a lot of mochi in Japan and San Francisco, their mochi has an added hint of rich Costa Rica fruit flavor.

I visited Ramenezco with my boyfriend, and he convinced me to try ramen del Bosque and Bīfukorokké. I'm usually not into veggie dishes, but wow... this one really surprised me! The flavors were unique, earthy, and rich, and it felt like a whole new food adventure. The service was friendly(all the staff, even Neko), the outdoor seating was charming, and the bathrooms were super clean (which I always appreciate). I’ve already told my friends to check it out, and a couple have gone too! It’s definitely become one of my favorite spots for a cozy date night. Next on my list: the seafood ramen 🐙🍜 can’t wait to try it!

The place is cool, quiet and nice atmosphere that has outdoor and indoor space. The staff was really nice, and they offered great recommendations. I tried one vegetarian ramen and it was delicious, would totally recommend it, a lot of flavor and the dish was big enough. Also, the gyozas were amazing! They have several beer and cocktail options. I tried a ginger beer and it was really good. The food is not cheap at all (the ramen options range from around 7000 to 10000), but overall I enjoyed the experience!

If you occasionally miss ramen among all the pintos and patacones, this is your solution. The noodles were fresh and had a pleasant texture, the chashu was flavorful and fatty, the ajitama yolk was properly just congealed. While they need some work before getting a mention on the Ramen List, you'll have to allow for challenges sourcing the equivalents of Japanese staples. Ramenezco compensates with their own touches; the roasted tomato on the Secco and the marinated mushroom in the classic were delicious. To those critics saying "it's not the real thing" - well, it's closer than most we've found in Europe. Bonus mention for good bar takeover...

Wow. A place has to be really, really bad for me to give one star…

Gyoza: Filling was ok but they were terribly cooked. Not browned at all, not crispy at all. The oil must have been too cool, they soaked it up and became greasy.

Ramen: Broth was basically soy sauce. No flavor beyond that. The noodles themselves were not ramen noodles but more like somen. Nothing against somen but even then they over cooked the noodles so they were too soft. Not al dente. No bite to them.

Finally the price: $20 for the worst ramen I’ve ever had. I was going to give it two stars because I just feel bad giving a place 1 star, but then I remembered how...
