The Polideportivo of Aranjuez is big, although most of it is a soccer field. They also have a smaller roof covered soccer court that doubles as 2 basketball courts. And a dedicated basketball court next to that. And on the other side of the roofed court they have a small outdoor gym that is really geared more towards older folks and a set of swings for people in wheechairs which I thought was a pretty cool idea. There is a childrens playground in the northwestern corner of the park with a huge cement slide and a four person hand swing, as well as a wooden jungle gym. The northern part of the park has bench seats and a brick path with a view of the Rio Torres river. Good place to go for a jog or ride bikes with the family. It's a little bit hidden with the main entrance for cars being on the northeastern side that you can find 2 blocks west of the Colegio Mexico, you can walk in that way or use the stairs and make a left on to the pedestrian path. There is also a pedestrian entrance on the west side next to the train tracks that can be accessed from coming down some stairs next to a bridge on avenida 17 about 100 meters west of Escuela Lic Claudio Cortez Castro, as well as a pedestrian entrance on the southern side next to the Clinica Panamericana's parking lot. We went on a weekday around from 1-3 pm and it was pretty peaceful and not a lot of people around other than a couple of park workers and some high school kids walking home. My son had a super fun time walking around exploring and playing at the playground. My only complaint was there were different crackheads hanging by the stair entance when we got there and when we left that made me think it would be better for women or smaller guys to not walk in there alone. Oh and the main reason I went there was because somebody posted photos of what looked like a street workout gym with pull up bars and body weight machines but that did no exist there (If you read this review and see the pictures I speak of, please flag them as the...
