Restaurante La Fortuna — Restaurant in Hospital

This place is a hidden gem. On the second floor, patio dining at its finest. We found it by accident our first night in Costa Rica and we chose to return the the last dinner of an amazing week+ exploring the beautiful countryside and city of San Jose. The cerveza is ice cold, the service is impeccable and the food is very flavorful. Quite the treat after a week of bland rice and beans 3 meals a day. Tonight we chose the Mixed Grill and the Fish Florentine with Imperial to wash it down. Everything was phenomenal....

From Japan:) I visited this restaurant because it looked reasonable, good and local. But it was so local that no staff could speak English..... So we had trouble to tell them what I want even though I just would like to tell simply “combo 1 and 8.” Yes, that was my bad. I have needed to learn Spanish, not proficiently but some basics like numbers at least to visit such local restaurants. It was good experience for me. Please like and follow. Their balcony seats are dominating the park. Nice views alongside great service and food. We ordered a ceviche, salmon salad, and shrimp curry . Cold mochachino and no sugar added papaya juice. Simple, everything tasted delicious and done right. The server was very attentive and accommodating. I love everything about this place.
