After reading the other reviews here, I decided to try the seafood soup [luna de miel]. It was incredibly delicious, there was so much seafood in it!! The broth was very rich and perfectly salty. There was a large variety of seafood: lobster, 2 types of shrimp, crab, mussels, clams, 2 types of fish, octopus. The different sizes of the seafood meant that some pieces were slightly over cooked compared to others. That being said, it was not a major concern and the soup was still delicious. The portion size was quite large, I was only able to finish about half of it. The soup and an appetizer would definitely be enough for two people [depending on how hungry you are].

Nestled in a quaint street across from our stay, Isaga is a simple place offering a fusion of Costa Rican delights and American staples. Unpretentious and simple, it surprises with outstanding flavors. The standout? Undoubtedly, the fries—crispy perfection that defies sogginess. Opting for camarones a la diabla con pescado, the fish impressed with its quality, even if the spice level adhered to the Costa Rican norm of mild. The dish showcased genuine flavor without venturing into touristy or expensive territory. While service earned a modest 3, and the atmosphere a commendable 4, Isaga proves that you good food often resides in...
