I've been there 3x the past few weeks (Oct.2025) and I'm super impressed how Rolling Thunder has really become one of the best managed restaurant-Sports Bar & Grill, & now famous for their Great prices-EXCELLENT portions too with Daily Specials! Of course for a Gringo owned Bar, they offer perfectly cooked handmade burgers, (served exactly how you want it) fantastic bbq ribs; your choice of quality mashed potatoes or homemade crispy fries or fantastic onion rings perfectly made per order--some of the best in CR! So yesterday night 9:30pm I ordered a hamburger and onion rings. It was the ABSOLUTE WORSE HAMBURGER IN JACO. First thing first the hamburger I ordered it medium. It came out SUPER OVER DONE not a drop on blood. Dryer than a desert 🏜 it was absolutely disgusting. Secondly the onion rings were horrible because they were super cold. Literally I was the only one who ordered food last night it comes out cold? Doesn't make sense how Terrible this food one. The people ABSOLUTELY NEED TO BE FIRED.
