Restaurante Tentación — Restaurant in Quepos

We came in to have drinks with my friends. The first bartender was nice and helpful and gave us information and prices for drinks. We talked and he charged us one price for our drinks then when we came in later another bartender charged us a different a price for the same drinks. When confronted about the price change he said that he had been working at the bar for over 6 years and that because he made these drinks prettier that they were more expensive. When we told him that was not what we asked for that we just asked for the same 3 drinks as before. He finally confessed that he just charged more. Absolutely the best restaurant have ever eaten at. The Cold brews, hot coffees, the food, and the best part the staff are outstanding. If you are from the states do not be intimidated by the food and assume it is out of your range. Think 5 star food/service on an Applebee’s budget….do not skip this gem of Quepos!! If you can grab a seat during a nice rain shower at night it makes for a great view. Odd but trust you’ll feel the same if you do.

Also they close at 9pm 😉

A great lunch stop! We tried the fish tacos and chicken mango wrap, and both were good. The milkshakes and desserts were our favorite part though. We got the pineapple coconut milkshake and it was super yummy! Another person in our party got the pineapple smoothie and enjoyed it, but said it was basically just pineapple juice.

The service was excellent. Our waiter was very nice and cleared our plates very quickly. The food came quickly when we ordered it as well.

The restaurant itself is shaded and has ceiling fans, although no air conditioning. It felt nice to sit down in the fans and enjoy...
