I am compelled to complete this negative review based on an experience my wife and I just had at this restaurant. We had reservations, and the app inquired as to what floor of the 2 we desired as well as to whether we had any special requirements. We were left waiting at the door close to 10 minutes in spite of our reservation. When we were finally addressed we were told our reservation could not be found although we had an email confirmation. Subsequently the waiter was advised we'd chosen the 2nd floor not the first. To which he replied, this is what we have. This is a pricey restaurant, and we were not going to remain and spend anything here after the demonstrated lack of respect for the customer and clear 3rd rate training the staff receives here. Don't spend your hard earned money here, 1st class RUDENESS on steroids at this...

The front desk at our airline appointed hotel completely misunderstood what kind of place we were looking for.

We had fried seafood platter with pickled onions, a reversed potato salad and shrimp soup. 10 out of 10, 10 out of 10 and 10 out of 10.
We're coming back to Costa Rica, we will spend a couple of nights in San Jose (on purpose) and Chancay will be...
Read moreStop reading and go now! You're going to want to try everything and you should! Definitely get this giant octopus dish! It was so good I kept closing my eyes and swaying back-and-forth. The drinks here are creative and beautiful and The atmosphere here feels so comfortable and beautiful as well. Parking is super easy because it is inside of a strip mall so there is plenty.
The staff is super sweet. Feel free to practice your Spanish with them as it is a compliment in Costa Rita. In case you need to know it is not customary in Costa Rica to tip because it is already included in the bill. But definitely pay tons of compliments and be very kind as that goes a long way. You will not want to leave and you will want to come back a few times before...
