The rudeness of the staff is unbelievable.
Imagine this scenario:
Before I went to the toilet, I politely asked for the bill, as I wanted to handle the payment so that once I was done, we could catch the ship to Lokrum.
The waiter didn’t show up for about 15 minutes, so my partner had to go down and ask the receptionist for the bill. The waiter shouted at her from afar, ‘Go upstairs for the bill.’ Where are the manners?
While on the terrace, a pigeon landed on the table, which had been left uncleared for a couple of minutes. The waiter came to remove the plates but didn’t clean the table, leaving the pigeon to eat the leftover food, which could attract more birds. My partner went down as well, as the bird almost flew into her face. While this isn’t entirely the restaurant’s fault, it is certainly the waiter’s responsibility for not cleaning up the remaining food. This clearly shows a lack of professionalism in the restaurant.
Furthermore, the food was extremely late—we waited for more than 30 minutes and at one point even thought our order had been forgotten.
The incident with the pigeon and the bill happened while I was in the toilet, so my partner was alone.

Read moreRestaurant Richeta or “The restaurant with the loud chairs” was a experience. After one hard hour restaurant overload, copy & paste menu cards and very intrusive waiters in the streets of dubrovnik we found finally this awesome place. After waiting 15 minutes, the waiter apologized for the long waiting, he was really nice and big respect to them all, they wear long trousers, shirt and a apron and running up and down the stairs when it has about 35 degrees. What a job. The food was amazing, my dubrovnik pizza was a combination of a insalta mista and a pizza with a ton of fresh ruccola. The truffle pasta was so intense that my wifes farts smell like truffels for two days. Amazing.
When you are sick of standard tourist places with expensive pizza prices like 24 euro for a magaritha, yes i saw that😂 you have to visit this Restaurant.
And don’t forget, the...
Read moreA middle-of-the-road location to dine in the venue of Dubrovnik Old Town. We didn’t find the food to be particularly up to par with neighbouring restaurants - pizza was lacking any taste or sauce, and there seemed to be an abundance of rocket in absence of any other greenery or vegetation.
They had bitten off more than they could chew with the volume of customers they were servicing and as a result we waited quite a while to be served. Service was given with a smile, albeit delayed.
Wouldn’t be rushing back on the basis of food quality we experienced… drinks were watered down, menu was limited in selection - they couldn’t make up their mind on what genre of restaurant they wanted to be. Avoid the freezer-fresh spring rolls to...
