Papar Grill Makarska — Restaurant in Grad Makarska

First. Very Bad cooking Quality. Ordered a medium done Tbone. No steak knife served. After smth.like an hour(!!!)waiting they bring me a completely dried cold tbone not even lukewarm. A told this waiter , he took this away and brought me in 15 min another one. The other Tbone was medium. And Just a little one warm. AS a side dish: a very small amount of COLD vegetables pergaps from the das before ( they tasted like this ) Second. The Hygiene . Take a Look of the Souces and the bottle of oil: seem Like never cleaned at all. Third. People are somiking INSIDE. Düring U are trying to eat the miserable Steak with your child , you are allowed to Inhalte the cigarets smoke from the neighnours table. Fourth. Gentleman WC No Toilette Paper .

An the check for the 1 steak ist 400kuna (more than 50€)

If U are Used to enjoy a Standard medium done Steak in Central Europe - dont even try a feet in this Location.

It's a Low Quality fast food Corner for naive tourists but never ever aproximately a good Steak...

I got bamboozled by the previous reviews. Do not trust them. The signature hamburger "Papar" was a beef puck cooked from frozen without an ounce of fat through it. So dry and overdone that an actual hockey puck would have been preferable. Unfortunately, it also came with a tomato slice so thick, you could slap someone unconscious with it. The amount of fries served alongside was meager, which was a good thing as they were very bad (think McFries). The cherry on top was them charging me for ketchup! 9 kuna for one little sachet, I suppose it was 1 Kuna for 1 gram, quite a steep exchange rate. I paid 100 Kuna for this immense disappointment which is unheard of. The end left me quite confused; I was still quite hungry, but also quite happy I was done with the meat puck. Head waiter was unpleasant which seemed in keeping with the general experience. In short, not good value for money. Maybe if you're paying in...

First I will give this place a 4.8 on food. This was by far our favorite Makarska local restaurant it’s a little walk from the water front but worth the walk. We order their meat platter for two and the a pizza. The pizza was delicious, not sure why we got but do know that it had sour cream and it went well with the pizza. I will recommend their pizza a 100% and their meat platter wow!! That will feel a family of four even though it said for two. The fried potato nuggets were crispy and I couldn’t stop eating them . We had a beer, wine glass and my daughter had a juice this total under 60 euros!! Love that!! But finally the service was the best we had here, this was the only place I left a tip and it wasn’t event expect by the waiter but very well deserved.Will recommend a 100% also.The only reason is their ground meat patties where extremely salty ( but that my personal taste and other might not...
