10.08.24. The staff tried to cheat us twice. First, they brought a check with everything we ordered, but in fact, they didn't bring one dish from the check. We said about this immediately, but the waiter said that the kitchen was already closed. Then the waiter brought a corrected check, which had a dish that we didn't order at all. There was no third check, he just corrected it with a pen.

UPDATE after restaurant response: "Our kitchen was close to closing" can't be an argument in a good restaurant. You didn't serve correct dishes, your kitchen was already closed after we have gotten the first check, you just have changed the check, delete the dish we didn't get, add the dish which we didn't order and make a discount on THIS DISH. In the end "as a good gesture" you just have deleted amount by pen that we didn't have to pay because we didn't ordered the last dish. To be honest you gave us a little compliment before the second bill and we left some tips in the end but we just wanted to eat the food we ordered and pay the order you took before closing your kitchen. We are staying here as guests at the hotel and got a 15% off voucher. This incentivized us to try the restaurant and we had an amazing experience.

Let’s start with food. The seabass tartar was delicious and the presentation looked like what a Michelin restaurant would serve. It could do with less acidity so the sea bass flavour could be more pronounced. The lamb risotto was amazing, there was depth to the dish. Focaccia - fluffy and delicious. The only complaint was the second basket served was stale but we came an hour before closing so this might have been their last basket and we were hungry looking guests. We would’ve still taken it but a heads up would be nice.

Service - our waiter Lovre was lovely. He was super attentive without being overbearing.

Atmosphere - the restaurant needs better acoustics or sound proofing. There was a table with a large group of guests (16+) and I wouldn’t say they were screaming but the noise level was a big suffocating even though we weren’t seated beside them.

Overall an amazing experience and the price was extremely fair. The food is slightly cheaper than the restaurants you’d find...

I ordered the tuna steak and my gosh it was MASSIVE. After the plate arrived I did a quick google search on tuna — for some reason I assumed they were a smaller fish but apparently they’re dolphin size?? Receiving this fish leviathan cross section, I did my best. It was really very very good (soft and flavorful) but it didn’t help that I ordered two desserts, a coffee, and gorged on the bread basket.

The waitress was so lovely and packed up my order to go. After walking out in a daze after being completely stuffed with tuna, she ran after me since I forgot the to go bag.
