Really disappointed with this restaurant.

We firslty checked the menu online and thought it was quite good. However, when we sat at the table we realised the prices were much higher than the ones shown online. For instance, the risotto we ordered was 65kuna online, 140kuna in the menu, more than the double. We ended up ordering mixed carpaccio and cheese for entrees and prawn risotto, and shells -mussels and Venus clams- in white wine sauce for main.

The cheese was cut quite badly but was ok, carpaccio was pricey but good enough. However, when they served us the mains, it was only mussels and no Venus clams could be seen. We have seen in previous reviews they usually serve only few of them with the mussels, so we thought they might be at the bottom, but there were none at all.

When one of the waiters -who didn't serve us nor before nor after - came and ask how everything was, we asked why there where no clams and literally said "I have no idea" and jiggled. We told him to ask the other waiter that was serving us thorough the night what was going on. 15 minutes after that, he still hadn't come by to our table. My boyfriend had to go himself to ask him, and the waiter went to ask somewhere else - we guess to talk with the manager or kitchen -.

When he finally came by, he started making excuses one after the other: first, we said shells and mussels only; then, we had had to say specifically if we wanted mussels or clams; then, shells were not in season, therefore they didn't have it, therefore they put mussels -and decide it was better not to tell us-; and finally, the menu have just changed and now is not mussels AND clams but mussels OR clams. We have seen pictures of people eating the mix both in Google and TripAdvisor so we don't buy these excuses, that kept changing almost instantly.

Though the waiter apologised, he first tried to blame us, and we were deliberately ignored from the moment we asked about it to the first waiter. The only compensation we got was a shot of moscatel when we asked for the bill, which was 470 kuna for two entrees and two mains -again, one of them not being exactly what we ordered.

We feel scammed by the way we were treated. If we would have been told there were no clams, we probably would have ordered that dish still, but what really annoyed us was the fishiness of their treatment to us when we asked about it.

Finally, though the rest of the food was average, the quality/price ratio it's quite bad. We've been in other restaurants in bol either much cheaper or with much higher quality than this - Pizzeria Mavis and Mali Rag, respectively -. Through all our trip around Croatia, this has been the most expensive dinner as well as one of the worst, not only for the treatment, but for the food itself, so please think about going somewhere else instead.
