Ribarska Kućica — Restaurant in Općina Bol

Good food, nice location, but extremly unpolite stuff. When we came to make reservation, bar tender was so nervous and I had a feeling he didnt want us there. Anyway, we made reservation, and that evening there was no one to welcome us and bring us to our table. On questions about food, they didnt have time nor willingness to explain anything. We were even rushed to order a drink so I forgot what I wanted. There was meesy atmosphere and no basics on the table, like olive oil (we went to another table to ask and bring it by ourself), no ashtray, no internet (because bar tender didnt have time to tell password to us. Table was so small that our food barely fit to it. Portions are small. No one came to pour drink in our empty glasses. Disastre. For restourant in such a beautiful town and with amazing service everywhere, this was dissapoiting. Prices were higher then elsewhere. In time we tried to enjoy dinner there was bunch of kids running around us and screeming. Unacceptable! There was one older bar tender who tried to fix situation and serve as many tables as he could, but I cannot forget youngers that just didint care - when we were entering I heard one of them swearing because guests wanted to pay with card. From whole Bol and Brac - this restaurant was the worst experience. Btw. Tuna was some defrosted chewy thing, bread old and just regular from supermarket, no side dish...etc. I would not reccomend this place, as there is million restaurants that would do anything to have you at their table, cheaper and delicious food and lovely people...

A pretty mixed bag. The view and setting are absolutely stunning.

The grilled octopus was delicious. However, the cucumber salad was just a chopped cucumber - not seasoned or dressed (salt, oil, vinegar were on the table, but would have expected more than a plain chopped cucumber when ordering a cucumber salad). Same for the tomato salad we didn't order but arrived instead of the tomato soup. The tuna tartar wasn't a tartar - it was a still frozen tuna carpaccio (but ironically served on a rather lovely bed of shaved and dressed cucumbers).

The waiter was generally pretty nice, but we found it odd that when the bill arrived the tomato salad which we hadn't ordered but was mistakenly delivered had been charged. When we pointed this out his response was "you ate it, didn't you?" Well, when it was delivered we actually pointed out that it was a mistake and hadn't touched it - he left it on the table still when the tomato soup we had actually ordered arrived. So eventually we ate the tomatoes so they wouldn't go to waste (not sure what he was getting at: would the salad have been served to a different customer if it had been there by the end of the meal?) Oh well, but after that exchange he grumbled and took it off the bill.

I could imagine going there and being a bit luckier with what we ordered and having a wonderful time. Unfortunately with our experience it'll be that odd restaurant in Bol that served frozen food and chopped cucumbers as salads that...

Stay away!!! By far the worst restaurant on the Croatian coast. We, 3 families was at their beach in the bar for 3 hours where we constantly drink coffee, wine, juices, water and where the waiter urges us to go to the restaurant part for lunch and at the same time the restaurant is completely empty at 1pm, we take the children out of the water, change our clothes, order 10 starters and 6 salads 6 bottle of wine, soups, ham, cheese to start and for an hour and a half we get nothing but criticism and bad excuses from a grumpy rude waiter who is extremely rude and on the verge of insulting us. We get soup from a bag and very bad bread for the first hour and a half. There are no appetizers, no salads, they don't even bring more water on 40 c outside. After an hour and 45 minutes, the appetizer arrives, which is disastrous, everything is cold, charred crackers, dry prosciutto, young cheese instead of old, very bad tomatoes...all at prices like on the Côte d'Azur. Here we also get a disaster from the main course, everything is bad and terrible, the meat is burnt, the fish is bad and smells strange, all the small portions and badly prepared, a lot of salt... . after an hour at 5:30 pm, they tell us that we need to leave the sunbeds that we paid for because they are setting up a night setup in the garden, so the sunbeds need to be removed. We will ever come here again nor should anyone ever come here. Terrible!!!!...
