We ordered the beef stew, the house salad, the mussels in white wine, the spaghetti carbonara and the chocolate cake. The mussels and the beef were overcooked. The mussels were very rubbery and the beef was hard (the waitress said that’s the norm for the region but we couldn’t eat it). The sauce for both dishes was nice. The salad was quite basic, and the chocolate cake was enjoyable. However the table behind us was given a dessert on the house while we had to pay for ours, which was slightly rude. They’re free to offer to whomever they want but maybe more discretely. When she enquired why we hadn’t eaten the beef, we said it was difficult and she wasn’t happy with that. We then said we didn’t want it packed she visibly wasn’t pleased with us. She then disappeared and we found it very difficult to flag her down for dessert or the bill. We do not recommend this place.

decentralized restaurant, a few minutes (about 6) walk from the port of Bol. as soon as we entered the waitress, an adult woman with reddish hair, was very kind and recommended a table in the shade and was also very nice and sociable with us. we paid by card. we ordered a mixed meat platter for two people but in my opinion it is for many more people. we also ordered a plate of fried calamari to take away with chips. I recommend everything but be careful of the heat. it was scorching hot, go equipped with a fan or in any case ask for a table inside even if the air conditioning is not excessive. it is important to know that at dinner it is much hotter and that free seats are difficult to find, I recommend going for lunch at a time between 2:00 p.m. and 3 p.m. completely positive experience.

We had a lovely time at Argento. Got the lamb recommended and it was superb! Very tasteful and soft meat. The tagliatelle with shrimps was amazing too. A lot is homemade and you will taste that! The price is very good if you compare it to the restaurants downstairs and the quality they serve. The hostess is very kind and funny, we had some good conversations and she made sure we had everything we needed. And also, don't forget the view. We witnessed an amazing sunset with views over the ocean. At the end she surprised us with the local drink, very strong but tasteful! Thank you for the lovely night :)

We were here 2 times and the food is really good! First time we had the fish plate for 2 (it was good, but not a game changer, the quantity of food was enough for 2 people, the chad potatoes really tasty! Second time, we had octopus salad, lamb chops and black cuttlefish risotto! These were totally a game changer. I loved the freshness of the octopus salad, and the risotto was cooked perfectly, the cheese was enough, not too much, not too little! The staff is really friendly and always smiling. We recommend this restaurant!

Am heutigen Abend haben wir uns für einen Besuch ins Argento Restaurant entschieden und ich kann vorweg sagen, dass wir begeistert waren! Aber fangen wir von vorne an. Unsere telefonische Reservierung wurde sehr freundlich und unkompliziert auf Englisch getätigt. Am Abend um 21 Uhr haben wir dann unser Platz eingenommen. Der Service war unglaublich freundlich und sehr kompetent. Man merkte sofort, dass das Personal den Beruf und den Umgang mit den Gästen genossen hat. Schließlich wurde uns jeder Wunsch sofort von den Lippen abgelesen. Es gab landestypische Speisen, von denen wir unbedingt probieren wollten, in dem Fall entschieden wir uns für die Muscheln als gemeinsame Vorspeise. Es war großartig! Geschmacklich so hervorragend das wir anschließen für die übrig gebliebene Sauce Brot bestellt haben, um dieses darin zu tunken. Als Hauptspeise haben wir uns dann 2x mal für Pasta entschieden, welche ebenfalls ein Genuss war. Außerdem haben wir Garnelen in Tomaten-Sauce und einen kleinen gemischten Salat gegessen. Was soll ich sagen, außer vielleicht das es schade war, dass wir inzwischen so satt waren, dass wir leider nicht mehr zu den tollen Desserts greifen konnten, weil wir von den großen Portionen schon satt waren. Aber der kleine Schnaps am Ende, war dann immerhin noch eine schöne Alternative. Der Wein und die anderen Drinks, waren auch von großer Qualität. Ich bedanke mich für einen tollen Abend in einem tollen Restaurant und freue mich auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen. lg :)
