True fine dining in Cyprus — finally.

This restaurant is one of the few — if not the only — places on the island that genuinely delivers Swiss-level hospitality and culinary standards.

From first impressions to the final dessert, it was clear that serious thought and respect for the craft went into every detail: • The butter presentation was done properly — a small but telling sign that basics are respected here, not rushed or overlooked. • The lobster was handled exactly as it should be — fresh, perfectly cooked, and presented without unnecessary distractions. • The steak was excellent quality — cooked properly and allowed to speak for itself without needing sauces to cover mistakes. • The wine recommendations were precise, based on understanding pairing, not just pushing price. • The atmosphere and view complemented the food perfectly — elegant, serene, and allowing the experience to feel complete without unnecessary distraction.

The service matched the food: professional, quietly confident, and correctly paced — present when needed, invisible when not.

It’s extremely rare to find a place where both the food and the service reach this level, especially on an island where “luxury” is often just a word, not a reality.

Worth every euro — and a reminder of what true fine dining is supposed to feel like.

So beautiful place and so bad service. First of all on Friday evening the restaurant was empty , only 3 tables was reserved. When I ordered side dishes , while waiting our friends to come , the waiter focused his attention that sides should be ordered to main dishes not like appetisers , really ? I think I can choose whatever I want of these available on your menu , also they was really confused when we asked for mocktail, they said they don’t have,than we asked if it possible to make virgin mojito they said it’s ok, where is the problem to offer these option from their side, beside these they took the glasses and dishes with the drinks and food from the table without our approval , when we order second bottle of different type of wine , they put it in the old glass of wine, we will very uncomfortable during the dinner because waiters was really rude and unhappy Food was good but overpriced , I have tried miso code in Lila Izakaya 2 times cheaper and the taste was the same, maybe even better, salad with the crab cost around 100 and they used the cheapest salad type - iceberg, why not to used Romano Hot water for the tea in the pot have a taste of fluoride , when we asked why , the told they don’t have hot water it comes from coffee machine . We recently had the pleasure of dining at Bege. It was a splendid 5 star experience. We chose Bege to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it could not have been a more perfect choice. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt special—modern and elegant, with warm lighting, stylish décor, and a subtle blend of Mediterranean and Asian influences that hinted at the creativity we were about to experience.

The service was outstanding from start to finish. Our server greeted us with a genuine smile, offered thoughtful menu suggestions, and even surprised us with a small birthday treat for my husband—such a kind and unexpected gesture that made the evening feel even more personal. They brought us a mango cheese cake that was out of this world, and even though usually they make it small so one person can eat it, this time they made a big cake especially for us so the both of us can share. We were truly touched.

Now, let’s talk about the food: incredible. The fusion of Mediterranean and Asian flavors was incredible.
