I am writing this message as a deeply disappointed guest of your hotel, where my family and I are currently staying on a full-board basis.
Last night, I went with my wife and children to the rooftop bar to make a reservation for this evening. I provided my full details and phone number, yet no one mentioned anything about a dress code requirement at that time. Today, we returned early from the beach specifically to get ready for the evening. My children were especially excited to watch the sunset from the top of the hotel and enjoy a juice in a special setting.
However, when we arrived – all dressed up – we were suddenly denied entry because I was wearing open leather sandals. These are not beach flip-flops, but formal leather sandals. I was told that tonight there is a dress code requiring closed footwear. Once again, I want to emphasize: no one informed me about this in advance, not during the reservation nor via any message or phone call today.
What made it even more frustrating was being told that, “if you weren’t hotel guests, we would have let you in,” and that we should go back and change – with no regard for the fact that I had small children with me, who were tired and couldn’t understand what was happening. Dragging them across the hotel just to meet an unexpected and uncommunicated requirement is both disrespectful and unreasonable.
This experience was incredibly disappointing – not only for me, but especially for my children. We are spending a significant amount of money at your hotel, and to be treated with such a lack of understanding and basic hospitality is beyond unacceptable. Never before have I experienced such disregard and lack of respect as a guest, particularly in a five-star...
Read moreWhat an absolutely incredible experience at Glasshouse Lounge & Restaurant in Adams Hotel! This place truly exceeded all expectations and quickly became my favourite spot in Ayia Napa.
First of all, the rooftop setting is simply breathtaking—perfect for sunset cocktails with panoramic views. The ambiance is unmatched, with a modern, stylish design that sets the tone for a truly luxurious evening. It’s without doubt the best place in Ayia Napa for drinks, views, and shisha!
The cocktail selection is top-tier, crafted by some seriously talented bartenders, and the wine list is equally impressive—offering everything from local gems to premium international labels. Whether you’re into wine or cocktails, you’ll be spoiled for choice.
Now let’s talk food—next level! The menu is a dream for food lovers, especially if you enjoy high-quality seafood and meats. We started with carpaccio, scallops, and oysters—all perfectly fresh and beautifully presented. They offer an excellent variety of raw plates that are a must-try!
For the main course, I had a prime steak—cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Their meat cuts come from different parts of the world, so there’s something special for every meat lover. The fish options also looked fantastic.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get better—the desserts blew us away! Creative, delicious, and the perfect way to end such an unforgettable dinner.
Glasshouse is a must-visit for anyone in Ayia Napa looking for a premium dining and cocktail experience in a stunning setting. I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreThe food was great! Atmosphere and environment really nice! So was the music! All the staff was very gentle and nice, except the girl in the entrance, who is the reason of my 4 stars rating instead of 5 stars. We were guests of the hotel and we decided to try the rooftop restaurant. Asked at the reception before and no reference was made about dress code or reservation needed. When we arrived, we were asked if we have a reservation, giving us the impression its fully booked. She then found a table for us but then she looked at our shoes and said she is not sure we can go in. Since we are in casual vacation and didnt really think of it, we were wearing sandals. The girl asked the manager who happily and gently told us there is no problem and led us to our table. The restaurant by the time we left was half full. But what really bothered us was when my 4 years old daughter went to look at the view at the glass barrier, the same girl complained that she is leaving fingerprints. Our daughter had just touched the glass with her clean hands. I found her whole attitude not matching the very nice and relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant. While everyone else was super nice, she made us stressed and took us a while to relax and enjoy it. P.s. half of the people in the restaurant were wearing flip flops and sandals, which is the most expected and understandable thing to see in a steakhouse of a big seaside all inclusive style family resort, where people go to relax with their family and not to dress...
