la Cucina di Napa — Restaurant in Ayia Napa

Hello Volks, I was a few seconds ago there. We had with my girlfriend „Amazing“ taste of unique Tagliatelle with „Arrabbiata“ which are really far away… a never ever ate such a sauce with belly peppers and so much onion. If I was Italian, I would kill my self with „Harakiri“. The Second dish we ordered was a Risotto with mushrooms, as well „amazing“. Taste of earth, wasn’t cooked properly and nice and creamy, it was almost like it was token frommte oven. Hard and dry….

The “bonus” on my pasta and my girlfriends risotto was the nice strawberry, divided halfway for a decoration!

Before our nice “experience” with the main course I forgot to share with you, what kind of Appetizer we got. Ohh, that’s was amazing too!!!

Bruschetta with tomatoes … There was chopped tomatoes dices, some olives, some cheese which was not mozzarella and a lot of rucola! Tasteless….

After our bad taste with the all “Starters” we told, we can take a classic pizza Margarita, we thought that there won’t be something wrong, that’s so easy and a kid can make it… but Surprise….

We became pizza Margarita with something like mozzarella mix cheese(was maybe okay, for A frozen pizza) and a lot of rucola, normally I thought we made a mistake and instead of pizza Margarita, I made ordered pizza Prosciutto with rucola and Parmesan and Prosciutto, but I was wrong… was our pizza Margarita, we tried it but unfortunately there was a really strange taste, Again!!!!

The pizza las having a taste of something oriental, like a bit of Cumin or maybe Curry powder, or some other spice from Asia side… not bad, but not Margarita.

As well, I am a star cook, my girlfriend is a long time in the gastro as well, we travel around the world often, but such a restaurant we never ever saw in our lives.

I hope they change the concept and the can Wirte nice menu and made it as such as possible signature for their Chef, but please… if you keep the Italian menu, change the receipts!!!

From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this place was designed with families in mind.

For our little ones, we ordered the classic pasta in tomato sauce and some chicken nuggets with chips. The kids' meals arrived incredibly quickly, which was a huge plus for us busy parents. Not only were the portions just right for the kids, but the dishes were also tasty and well-prepared, ensuring that even the pickiest eaters were satisfied.

As for the adults, we opted for a selection of appetizers and main courses. The bruschetta with tomatoes, cheeses, and a blend of spices was a delightful start—fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning made it a standout. For our mains, I chose the mushroom risotto, which was creamy and rich with perfectly cooked mushrooms, while my partner went for the roasted salmon, which was tender and flavorful.

One of the things we appreciated most was the quality of the food across the board. Every dish we tried was made with care and tasted very good. Additionally, the pricing was very reasonable, with most dishes ranging between 8 to 14 euros. To complement our meals, we ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio from Italy. It was excellent—crisp and refreshing—and priced fairly at 19 euros.

Overall, this Italian restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere for families without compromising on the quality or authenticity of the food. Whether you're dining with kids or looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a delicious meal, I highly recommend giving this place a try. We'll definitely be returning...

We were absolutely thrilled! The pizza was outstanding – perfectly crispy crust, fresh ingredients like bell peppers, black olives, cherry tomatoes, and wonderfully creamy feta cheese. You can really taste the quality and the love that goes into the preparation.

The desserts were another highlight: the chocolate cake was rich and moist, with a smooth mousse layer, shiny glaze, and beautiful decoration – a true treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. The cheesecake was just as impressive – creamy, not too sweet, and with a perfect crust. Simply heavenly!

The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was modern and welcoming. Drinks were served quickly – everything was spot on!
