Φαμελιά - Famelia — Restaurant in Larnaca

We told the waiter that we will order food when he brings us drinks, so we could have time to think about what we will order. Then the waitress came with the drinks, snatched our menus from our hands and just left without a single word. We waited 10 more minutes, hoping someone would take our order but they kept ignoring us and serving other tables. Very disrespectful, I dont know what we did to get this kind of treatment… I hope no one has the same experience as we did in any kind of restaurant.

First of all as i said originally, we told you that we want to order the food after the drinks, then the waiter came and snatched the menus from our hands and left without any communication.

Second of all no one said anything about any emergency, you are blatantly making things up like a child would. Look at my profile, i rarely give 1 stars, only when someone deserves it.

I have been here a few times and always enjoyed it. Food choices are basic but get to the table hot and fresh. It is unfortunate that last night we had a very poor experience though, so much to the point that my wife has reconsidered where to have a family gathering. There was a group table at the restaurant when we went, and as the first person arrived, all of the attention of ALL the staff simply went to this group. We were not able to get a second round of drinks, the waitress walked off while we were still giving our order and at the end if the night we had to wait to get someone's attention to pay. The food was dry and served on a plate that was to small to eat comfortably. As I said, been here before and always enjoyed it, but last night was a poor experience and embarrassing because we had brought visiting friends with us. Not sure if we'll be back...
