This restaurant is located on the sea front with great views out to the sea. You can sit inside and stare out or sit outside and enjoy the fresh sea air. It is easy to eat and watch people walk by on the promenade. So great for people watching. The restaurant itself is traditional, and has a beautiful warm old world feel, and more importantly a family feel. As if you could be inside the home.of a Cypruot family. This would be true and reflective of the ownership. As it has been in the same hands for over 45 years from mother to daughter and continuing. The food is made with 45 years of love care attention and family pride. This is not just a business this is a passing on of passion and food love. Passed on not just from heneration to generation but from each generation to each of their patrons. Each meal is homemade and prepared with care and you can taste the qualitative difference of this special ingredient of love and passion. I chose the classic Cypriot moussaka dish. Ah.... It is amazing! And you don't need anything else. And still itn8s served with pitta bread, so go easy on that. The chips are hand cut too not any chain production, they are individually cut and they are freshly made. Homemade. They are super. Meals are with huge portions, tasty, and served with care. The waitress knows her menu and can explain anything you need. The owner manager is also on hand and ensuring quality of service and meal. Dont look for modern, tricks and tips. This is cooking that is a proven a winner over decades. Sit back enjoy and eat. This is Great value too so leave a handsome tip! This is the authentic food you've come for. It is sooooo good. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

This is another one of my favourite restaurants in Larnaca. I come here for lunch, breakfast, dinner, most of the days I spent in Cyprus and for afternoon Cypriot desserts which they are the most tasty Cypriot desserts in Larnaca. Alasia's speciality is the famous moussaka which the portions are huge. The moussaka is served with salad and pitta bread. The moussaka was well cooked with plenty of vegetable, mincemeat and bechamel sauce. I have also visited for dinner which we had tried the seabass which it was another tasty dish. All meals are cooked daily on the premises, and here you get fresh cut chips and. !not frozen. The Cypriot desserts we had with our afternoon coffee were shiamisi which is made with very thin pastry and filled with semolina custard. The other desserts we had were the famous bourekia which again are made with thin pastry filled with fresh soft anari cheese and cinnamon, which are deep fried and dusted with icing sugar. We also had the famous honey balls. All the desserts are to die for so do go and try them out. I would definitely recommend this place, for location, service and freshly homemade Cypriot dishes. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much for them, always helpful. Even the location which is on a stretch of a busy road is calming and relaxing.

Alasia Restaurant: Larnaca's Hidden Gem for Cypriot Cuisine and Ocean Views! Alasia Restaurant in Larnaca isn't just a meal, it's a delightful adventure for your senses. Nestled on the beachfront, this charming establishment boasts breathtaking views and a menu that sings of Cyprus' culinary soul. Their mousaka is a local legend, and for good reason. Each bite bursts with flavor, easily ranking it among the best I've had in Cyprus. But don't miss the handmade halloumi ravioli - a unique and delightful expression of their culinary artistry. And for seafood aficionados, the platter is a must-try. The fish is shockingly fresh, as if it leaped straight from the ocean moments before landing on your plate. But what truly sets Alasia apart is the exceptional service. The owners, who were also hosting during my visit, take genuine pride in their establishment. Their warmth and attentiveness make you feel like a valued guest, ensuring your comfort and enjoyment throughout your meal. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience in Larnaca, look no further than Alasia Restaurant. It's a hidden gem that combines exceptional food, a stunning setting, and impeccable service. Trust me, you won't regret following this recommendation, which I bet you'll re-do!
