The good: lovely location on the marina, and restaurant's aesthetic is nice too. Staff were attentive and very eager to please :)
The bad: I ordered garlic prawns and, while they were very tasty, there were I think 8 small prawns on a pan. It was basically a starter, but listed in the mains. And at €18, I think anyone would be disappointed.
While most of their mains are in the pricey €15-20 zone (some things in €30+ range), you'd think fries would be a standard side.
But you need to order fries/salad separately. Not great value for money in my opinion.
Some of the seafood came with spinach on the side, but that was brought separately. Clearly they forgot to serve it.
Others at my table had really good portion sizes, so it's really disappointing that there's so much inconsistency in the otherwise well-cooked food.
The management would do well to look at weighing every mains and making sure that they can offer a reasonable sized portion at a fair price, otherwise axe it from the menu. 9 prawns at 20euro is not a reasonable portion at a fair price, considering fries and a salad had to be ordered separately.
Also, we were informed things would come out as and when they were ready, but it took way too long to serve the food.
Overall tasty, but small portions ruined an otherwise...
Read moreBeautiful location but spoiled by the inordinately long wait to catch the attention of staff. Chips were literally scraps from potato peelings and cold. My peach and burrata salad had no peach (they hadn’t got any they told me after I complained)and the smallest and toughest Barratta I have ever seen. 18 euros for a cucumber essentially. My husband had the Calamari which was distinctly undercooked and he left most of it. I’m made of much sturdier stuff and sent mine back and refused replacements. We have been here many times but normally just for coffee and we will never eat there again. The service is terrible unless you are local or a boat owner (that may not be true but it’s just an observation of the day), food is small, undercooked and underwhelming and the bill is extortionate for what is essentially a 1star meal. Take my advice and avoid and pop over the road to one of the beach front restaurants that really do care about...
Read moreWe went for the first time here and arrived around 6pm on a Tuesday. There was only two other tables when we arrived. There was only one waitress but since it was only us the service was good. We had the fish meze and everything was tasty from the sauces to all the fish except for the octopus which was overcooked and lost its crunchyness and taste, the other downside was that as soon as they brought the prawns a swarm of flies surrus and most of the time we were fighting of the flies. It's a fish restaurant so you are gonna have flies buzzing around, we asked for a fan but the waitress said that the only fan they had had no electricity. They became so annoying that we packed it up for take away. There is plenty of paid parking around the restaurant and the view is very pleasant. If they had something in place to deter the flies would have...
